Agreed. In addition, they do not have much of an idea of how many have already had, or been exposed to it, but fought it off. The silver lining is that many people have had it and the death rate is lower than we are currently seeing.

well they could start collecting tissue or blood samples from every death right now and save them until some sort of testing is available to give them a better account of what they are actually dealing with once the ability is there to process all those deaths correctly. but did the person die from Covid, or complications arising from Covid ie: were they going to die from the pneumonia anyway, or was it the covid that caused them to get pneumonia?

that is the testing they are hoping to be rolling out soon. IMO that is what we really need to be waiting for before we try and return to any sort of normalcy. the finger prick test for antibodies will be the biggest win of this whole thing until an antivirus is created.

If anyone wants to enroll, you can go to the NIH website and sign up for a test where they send it to you to see if you have the antibodies. It could be a moot point right now if they got the requested number of participants, but we signed up as we quite confident we had this back in January while between SF and LA for a month.
And don’t worry, the government isn’t going to take your DNA and make a clone of you, you’re not that important 
Just to inject my real world experience: my girlfriend is back at work and still hasn't been tested. Not everyone is consistently wearing a mask.

That's the conundrum. That's example of association, If you are diagnosed as terminal and have 2 weeks to live and you step into cross walk and are hit by a vehicle. If you go to the hospital and live for 14 days in a coma, whats the cause of death? You know a lawyer will be involved if there is a decision of liability. I am not a lawyer or a doctor, just listened to an economist explain the point, thought it was a good way to think about it.
Who is going to pay for the post mortem analysis and more importantly who needs to agree with the conclusions for them to be useful?

i dont see the connections to either, but I am not a fan of 5g...its roll out in rural areas is totally fucking us that live out here. the range of 5g is a fraction of what it was for 3g and actual phone calls are drastically suffering. this is really a matter for the 911 boards and the FCC in terms of what they allow the carriers to do and where.
