I love Cosell's scouting reports. He's one of the better ones out there. I think lately he's been doing write-ups for the WR class. Pittman is a guy he likens a bit to Michael Thomas. I wouldn't mind grabbing that guy in the 2nd,

Honestly, this WR class is so freaking deep, we can wait until the 3rd. Hell, if we can get Bowden or Higgins Day 3, we'd be set at WR.

You're right. Being so deep means that guys that would usually go early might get pushed back while other areas get picked. Either way, this is going to be one of the more fascinating drafts from a Vikings perspective in quite some time.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS: JUSTIN JEFFERSON, WR, LSUAfter the shocking trade of Stefon Diggs, the Minnesota Vikings only have Adam Thielen and Bisi Johnson as dependable targets on the perimeter. Justin Jefferson is a slot-only option that brings a well diverse skill set. In years past, we've seen how good Kirk Cousins is with slot options dating back to his time with the Washington Redskins and Jamison Crowder. Jefferson would be a welcome addition to a group that is starving for talent after trading away their best receiver.

I think the Vikings should probably draft two WRs. I really like Bisi Johnson, but before the Diggs trade, I thought of him as a capable WR3, but someone who probably should be a WR4. There's no reason to change that outlook. What's more, Adam Thielen turns 30 before the season.

I like the idea of loading up on day-two picks to help us do that. Trade a 1st down for a 3rd. Maybe get a 3rd from an Anthony Harris trade. That would give us four 3rds.

So something like this...

1a. Denzel Mims, WR
1b. Ross Blacklock, DT
2. Jaylon Johnson, CB
3a. Van Jefferson, WR
3b. Ben Bartch, G
3c. Jeremy Chinn, S
3d. Matt Peart, OT

@MaroonBells Remember how I went full blown Nakita Khrushchev on Chris Godwin?

Lynn Bowden and Isaiah Higgins Day 3 are the two WRs to get.

My spidey senses are tingling.

I remember it well. Haven't studied Bowden or HIggins yet. So many damn receivers it's a daunting task to look at all the day one and two receivers, let alone the day three ones. That's part of the reason I think it might be a good year to double dip.
