IMO this is all just fan speculation fueled by reading a ton of draft info and thinking, "How could my team get more of these prospects I'm falling in love with?" I've been there - they all look like can't-miss improvements over what's on our roster and you can convince yourself to dump half your team, especially those with trade value.
Diggs for 1 first round pick, the 23rd? Spielman got more than that for Percy Harvin, and compare the two: Age: Harvin nearing 25 at time of trade; Diggs just turned 26 - slight value edge to Harvin, mostly even Contract: Harvin was going into the last year of a contract and demanding a new deal; Diggs is signed for the next 4 seasons (and not top 10 WR money) - edge in value for Diggs Production: Harvin gained 967 yards in his best year and the trade occurred after his worst Viking season; Diggs is coming off consecutive +1,000 yard seasons and 2019 was his best - huge edge to DiggsInjury: Harvin had numerous issues and in 2 of his first 4 seasons, only played 8 games (including the year before his trade); Diggs has had a few dings but played 14 or 15 games each of the last 3 years - huge edge to DiggsAttitude: Harvin was a constant mess, and Vikings management probably knew he was headed in the path he followed to career destruction; Diggs complains sometimes because the wants the ball more - huge edge to Diggs Oh, and to top it off, Diggs was the centerpiece of the most celebrated Vikings moment of the past decade and probably the best-known player on the team. Diggs isn't going anywhere unless there are about 3 first round picks coming our way.

Report: Vikings looking to move on from Stefon Diggs this yearOn Tuesday, Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd said on his radio show that, “Minnesota is looking to move off (Diggs) for the right pick,” and the receiver is, “unhappy,” with the Vikings.

Does Cowherd saying something make it more unlikely?

Looked at twitter only to see Diggs trending and posts about him deleting Instagram Vikings content. Ugh. Time for a break. See ya next season.

Diggs is a diva. Talented. But a diva nonetheless. Personally I think he's jealous of Thielen or anyone else who gets the spotlight.
Too many good receivers in the draft and free agency.
