Teddy Likely To Stay In New Orleans
#11
Hill isn't a passer. He'll be 30 years old soon. Its insane to think he's a starting QB.

The fans down there are rallying behind Hill for their future from what I have heard.   I dont see the future there for Teddy that he believes is there unless he doubts his knees ability to take a full time role and is happy being 2nd chair.
I hope they listen to the fans and make HIll their starter. Guy can catch a pass, make a block and even return kicks. I say put him under center full time. What could go wrong?
well I am glad payton didnt listen to the fans as Zim has zero answers for that guy and our defenders didnt seem to want any part of tackling him.  I am concerned for this week with Kittle after watching how Hill just drug our guys down the field.
For a team that was #1 by a mile at not giving up YAC they sure looked like butter and Hill the hot knife. Kittle is as good at YAC as anyone in the League. Minnesota will need to hang tackle him.

Maybe I am wrong, but Hill had 1 big run, 1 big pass play and the reception that Smith got caught peeking at Kamara.  He got another 1st down on a 3rd and 1.  So other than that one run, where did he look like a hot knife.  And Harris whacked him on that big run, but failed to wrap him up.  So nobody look afraid to tackle him, he just is a stout RB that broke a tackle and danced through the trash.
Cook broke tackle after tackle against the Saints who hadn't given up a 100 yard rusher in 40+ games.  Dudes were amped up for the playoffs and made some plays.  Hill made 3 big plays.  But only 1 that was a tackle breaking run.

he had another run where he broke a few tackles besides the one where he trucked Harris.

Anyone find it kinda funny that ESPN's article (or at least what is posted here) still is using a Vikings stock photo?

So he's gonna pass up a 25 mil payday to make 7 as the Saints backup?  Okey dokey.

Yeah - not to glorify chasing money, but if Teddy doesn't go for an opportunity to start next year, after 6 NFL seasons and nearing age 28, I would question whether he has the demeanor and drive to ever be a winning starting NFL QB. When will his value be higher?
