The 4-game winning streak was just feasting on 3 teams that will all be drafting in the top 10, and a home win against another mediocre team.
I thought they had to win 3 of the first 4 games in the second half to have a shot to win the North and be a playoff force. They won't get a better opportunity against Dallas or Seattle than they had today. I think they will be 7-5 after the next 3.
As for Cousins: I don't think he sucked. But I think he demanded $84M because he knew he would have a lousy OL in Minnesota.

Even with all our issues we could and should have won this game. Stupid penalties and atrocious CB play is killing us. We can't stop anyone from throwing on us when it matters. We had two drives that were killed by a holding and then an illegible lineman up field after two large gains. Undisciplined.

As much as I bitch about him, and want better for 84$ million... he played pretty well. Oddly enough, in a 3 TD no pick game, I still wasn't impressed with him.
But it wasn't on him alone. The whole team didn't have it today. We were off. We weren't horrible, but just not all there. KC played pretty well. I don't hate this loss.

Could it be scheme? I feel like we have competent corners. Rhodes isn't a world beater anymore but he's still in the top half in my opinion.

Kind of a loaded question. He made some, not enough I'd argue.
The positives are that he didn't toss the ball to KC, he wasn't TERRIBLY inaccurate. But he did leave a lot of plays on the field.
Trying to be fair here. I wasn't impressed, but he kinda/sorta played well enough to win. I think we all expect more from him though.
