Ego supression.
Building for sustained long term success.
Harbaugh embodies none of the above.
Now, we pair this with another move that looks like pure cronyism.
My bride just sharted in her wedding dress at the reception after making out with the best man.
2 of those 3 are absolutely false. He's extremely cooperative, coaches but loves his players, you can question whether he wants to build for sustained success. He's always in win-now mode
I usually don't pair cooperative with a guy who isn't on speaking terms with his GM.
His shelf life also see to be quite short lived.

I think he's a long-shot myself - for here anyways.
He and KAM have some history and he should be interviewed if he's expressed interest here. But anyone watching Michigan football would probably agree that they dont see anything progressive, cutting edge or not "reeking of yester-year" football wise with him.
Please No Harbaugh...Please I beg you Wilf family.
For the last few years Zimmer had run his course and last year it reached a peak for me as a 45yr fan. It was the first time I could ever remember disliking the HC and QB of my team.
Harbaugh would make that even worse for me. All this media and insight about how he is not so bad......Actions speak louder than words and I know he is a complete ass*ole since his playing days and he has not changed with age.
I don't think his schtick would be accepted in the NFL after 8 years...it was running low when he left.
I am feeling Kwesi the last few rumored interviews.
Now we have Ryans and O'Connell rumored to be coming in for seconds - between those 2 I would want O'Connell.

So, you're saying his bride did not shart her wedding dress?
I am looking forward to Harbaugh and Watson.
Well, they've interviewed something like 10 HC candidates so far, with two of them squaring off in tonight's NFCC game, so I'd say that there's at least a few more interviews ahead.

He did well with the 49ers a long long fome ago. If he’s such a QB whisperer then why have all of his QBs been average at best at Michigan? I see this as a big time gamble and idk if I want a weirdo like Harbaugh
We dont need to whisper to QBs. We already have one of the most accurate ones around. We need a leader of men.
Take whats working on offense. Bring in new eyes on D and win a friggin championship.
I was responding to someone saying he is a QB whisperer. Did he have success in the NFL? Yes, but that was 8 years ago. Why is he such a better candidate than the others we have spoke with? Because of what happened nearly a decade ago? He was one 8-4 season away from being fired by Michigan and I would bet a lot of Michigan fans would say he has not met expectations since becoming HC
……lol……because he’s actually had success??? We’re at best throwing out a prayer that any of the young coordinators can turn a franchise around.
Success 8 years ago doesnt make it a guarantee that he will be better than anyone else we are talking to. He won one big ten championship at Michigan, it’s not like we are talking to a guy that left the NFL and was coaching for a national title contender. Maybe he would be good in the NFL again, but a lot has changed so I think it’s fair to be skeptical of the ceiling

College kids have to put up with an assh***. NFL players do not, and Harbaugh is too old to be punching people in the face and not getting laid right out which I would be all for. His hot-headed disposition and attitude are no longer fit to be coaching in the NFL level.
I get that Harbaugh is abrasive but it seems like half the people bashing him for not getting along with his GM in SF also wanted Doug Pedersen… who had the same clashes.
I’d be all for Harbaugh.
