Jimmy, was the election stolen?
I think there is a shit ton of questionable stuff that shouldn't have been. I can't say it was or wasn't, I just know that there is so much unexplained shit that took place the last election that it would be fair to say its questionable at best.
Jan 6rh aside...The economy is a shit show and whomever Americans think can fix it is going to get elected...It's going to be THE ISSUE unless something bad happens with war or viruses.

Good job, bring this back on target. The faltering economy is going to be dominant issue in the next election, without a doubt.

agreed. I am curious though to what the GOP solution is to a global supply chain quagmire and global inflation. I hear them bitching about it but I'm curious outside "pump more oil" what would they actually do. Keep in mind that, gas prices, while slow, have been dropping steadily for weeks now.
Then again those who will want to pump more oil don't understand what the US oil supply is about, how at best it would be to alleviate European energy concerns vs the US.
So what is the plan then? Let Russia take Ukraine and open up trading dialogue with a rival who is a 3rd world country masquerading as a gas station. Taking the pressure of global oil trading supply and lowering the speculator valuations?
The global economy due to covid and supply chain, climate change, and Russia has been on a path to hell even the US can't escape (regardless of who is the President). There is zero doubt in my mind, we will take the short route and exacerbate the long term issues which will doom us all.

Like what?
BTW stop painting everyone with a fucking broad brush "every liberal, all democrats" sane adults don't say "all republicans, every MAGA member". You want a dialogue or do you want to argue and look foolish?

Here's a decent and relatively non-partisan report on my home state of Wisconsin which was a swing state decided by roughly 20,000 votes.
There were a lot of things that were done in the election that violated State and in some cases Federal law (Zuckerberg bucks assistance).
The big ones:
Use of attended drop boxes
Allowing ballot harvesting in Democratic strongholds (Madison, Milwaukee)
Encouraging the use of "permanently incapacitated" designation in Democratic strongholds (eliminates ID requirement)
Curing of absentee ballots in Democratic strongholds only outside of State law...and using outside resources hired from ACT Blue and equivalents (Zuckerberg bucks).
Not actively maintaining voter roles
Eliminating election deputies for long term care facilities...meaning the people working at the facility could assist in ballot completion. We had some facilities with 100% participation. This one is a little personal to me as the mother of one of my best friends who is in a long term memory care facility here in Madison voted for Biden in the last election. She hasn't recognized her son in over 4 years...and was a lifetime Republican but somehow, on that day, she became perfectly lucid and decided to vote for Joe Biden. She was declared mentally incompetent several years ago. The problem is...you can't prove fraud...because she can't remember if she voted or not. She can't even remember what she had for breakfast. She clearly didn't (or shouldn't have) voted particularly since my friend has full legal rights.
Why does every election reform initiative from the left make it easier to cheat? Shouldn't we all want fair and accurate elections...or is it party over Country?
We should all want fairly decided elections. Let's make it impossible to cheat...apply law equally...and not allow external influences in the election day activities.
I've always advocated for a National ID card...can be used for voting, for Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, SNAP as well as a backup to State ID for age verification. Shouldn't we be encouraging this or should we be encouraging fraud?
Anybody that says there was absolutely no evidence of fraud or wrongdoing in the 2020 election is clearly wrong. Did it affect the election? I don't know...but I know we can do better in the future. By the way...Hillary still claims she won the 2016 election.
For the record...I don't want to see Trump (or Biden) run again but to make blanket statements about NO EVIDENCE OF ELECTION FRAUD is nonsensical. There were lots of things that were wrong with the 2020 election...and lots of State Legislatures are cleaning up some of the most glaring issues as we speak.

How about...MORE THAN TWO CHOICES, AND NOT JUST TWO TREASONOUS TRASHIPLE PARTIES??!?!?
Seriously, at some point, it HAS to occur to people that settling for that level of f**king manipulated stupidity remains a horrible idea...right?!?!?
We won't have 140 million Americans settle for the same lying fan clubs again, right? RIGHT?!!?
Yeah, I know. Just...hopeful, despite decades of proof that every 4 years, this country is truly, fatally stupid.
Me and 70ish others in my county keep voting libertarian. Some day Z. Some day.
Why don't your libertarian candidate just run as a D or an R? We see it in SD where a D switches teams and suddenly can get shit done. There's always those that look for the letter before they look for the quality of the candidate, take advantage of that.
IMO, the only way a viable 3rd party ever comes to the game is if a large chunk of either main party splinters off , a decent fraction of both parties join up on some common ground like fiscal issues and let's the hot button election fodder shit fall away until the real problems are solved.
Missed this one but Ron Paul ran as a republican. Gary Johnson, 1 libertarian candidate removed was the republican gov of NM.

Sad that you are still in the long con played by the world's leading conman. Willing to sacrifice the institutions in what was and still could be, the best country in the world for your own pride.
What do you Christians say? Pride comes before destruction.
Haven't listened to a thing Trump has said since the election. As far as sacrificing our country, better take a real look at what's going down and who's pulling the levers. It ain't Trump or any of those that support him or his policies that are turning this country to shit.
Something about a new liberal world order?
Your tin foil hat is showing. Lower your doses of extreme forms of news. The LWO now?? Is that a new wrestling federation?
Hey, your president said it, not me.
Yes....'my' President. I voted for him so everything he does I just eat up with a spoon and love. Got it.
So Trump is 'your' President then, right? Don't even tell me with a straight face you don't own a red MAGA hat.
LOLOLOL. I didn’t vote for Trump but I sure as hell bought one of those hats to trigger the shit out of my over the top liberal brother in law at the family Christmas.
I got mine from some knock off so no campaign contributions were made. It was soooo worth the $10

It damn well better not be Trump. We cant possibly be that stupid can we?
Are you freaking sterile? You like the shit this country has been through in the last year and a half? I guess so.
I'd take Trump in a second. Get some sense man.
Good Lord I can see why I don’t come here often. 95% of you all are just insane or fricking dumb as a box of rocks. And that's being insulting to the rocks.
Lol, Trump is a whiny crying bitch. Had he shut his piehole he’d still be President.
There is a zero percent chance I would vote for either Trump or Biden. I don’t want either of their views for America.
Not only a whiny bitch, but a lying POS...
Trump is going to announce his candidacy b4 mid-terms, he cant help himself.
Plus he wants to freeze-out other candidates early in a money grab...
I agree with George Conway; there is one candidate who might beat him for Repub nomination and that is DeSantis.
And if that does happen? Trump would run as an independent because that's how he's wired. And that would pretty much insure you get a Dem as POTUS again.
@StickyBun, what are your thoughts on your Gov down there and do you think he's going to toss his hat in the ring?
This is EXACTLY what is going to happen. He has to run to keep the cash cow mooing and keep the criminal probes at bay.
IF Desantis beats him in a primary, he will run on the "freedom" or "maga" party platform and destroy any chance the GOP has. That's what a deal with the devil looks like.
Announces in September, potentially wrecks the midterms, runs as independent, wrecks the GOP ticket. It is going to happen, he's not bowing down to a guy he felt he made in Desantis.
I don't know why sane conservatives aren't out condemning him and his actions on January 6th.
Because most conservatives see jan 6th for what it is, an overblown, manufactured, charade made to distract the lefts voter base from the real crimes being committed to the American people.
I see Jan 6th itself as some dumb asses storming the capital and they should be appropriately tried and potentially convicted.
The bigger crime is a big lie from ex POTUS and his attempts to circumvent the system our forefathers put in place - for his own drive to stay in power. That s hit dont happen here too often.
But when the last group of dumb asses "stormed" the capital there was no outrage, no concerns, etc. Jan 6th was so overblown its not even funny. The words used to describe Jan 6th are ridiculous. The antics after it are worse.
Don't agree with this at all. Not even a little.
What should we do about the several blocks that were succeeded from the country in Portland during the Floyd protests? Some 6 weeks if I remember correctly?

Or the protesters that stormed the State Capitol and occupied it for months here in Madison during the ACT 10 Teacher Union debates. They were cleared out once...but Dem Senator staffers let them back in the Capitol building through ground floor windows after hours (they didn't have much to do anyway since the State Senators were "hiding" out in Illinois). Did we have an "insurrection" right here in Madison and did the Democrats enable it? Pretty scary stuff if so...and here I just thought it was part of the Democratic process. I guess the WI Capitol police should have shot and killed one of the unarmed protesters...just to show they were serious....
Edit: For the record, I went down to the State Capitol after hours a few times during the protests just to check it out. So..if it was an insurrection...guess that makes me an insurrectionist. Sounds pretty scary doesn't it.... Hope they don't come looking for me. Oh wait...Team Blue protest so "mostly peaceful" so I should be good....unlike some of those Jan 6 protesters still locked up without bail..many of whom that have been locked up for a year and a half...and are facing relatively minor sentences if any.
