that is hardly a political statement, I believe we could have done better, we could have been better prepared, we could have done a lot of things better, but that isnt an indictment on either party or on any leader, its IMO a failure by our govt as a whole (federal, state and local), over long periods of potentially global reaching diseases to have a real plan in place to handle these situations.

There is nothing political in the quote, unless you want there to be.
This country (everyone of us) are in this together and hope we continue to act like it instead of looking for decisiveness and arguments.
It is OK to expect better of our local, state, and federal governments so that we can learn and improve because we all know these virus's are going to be more frequent. These are the situations that allow the local, state, government to use the taxes we have paid. No person and especially politician is perfect (Ha) and we need to hold them accountable.
