First post here. I think you can say the same for Diggs. Seemed like a common theme where Diggs looked to be a decoy to get Thielen open. That's why I like this team so much, no one seems selfish. They sacrifice their numbers for the betterment of the team.
I would agree that the team is very unselfish. I think Diggs and Adam do well for each other. Just makes me wonder if Adam would be the same if he was opposite of an average player.
LOL... You just can't give Thielen any praise can you, Can? Any praise seems to be with the caveat that Diggs is better at X or has Y or Thielen only produces because of Diggs.
When Diggs missed 2 games, Thielen had 5 catches for 41 yards (against Baltimore) and 9 catches for 96 yards (against Green Bay). The year before, he had 7 catches for 127 yards and a TD (against Houston) and 8 catches for 53 yards (against Detroit).
Those look like #1 WR numbers to me and he would have had Charles Johnson or Treadwell playing opposite of him. Why can't you just say that Thielen is a good WR and Diggs is a good WR. They both can be good players right?
I like Adam and think he's a good WR. I have said that. I am happy we have both.
Imo, if they are forced to not sign someone based on a monetary standpoint, Kendricks is the odd man out, with Gedeon (sp?) taking over at mike

and you may be right. I am not the biggest Barr fan and prefer Kendricks but in todays NFL , length and speed seem to be all the rage. Barr does call the D so Z must like his mental game

Barr relays the plays in. it says something that BRob sets the defense when he is on the field for critical downs.

Gedeon is so far from taking over for Kendricks it's not even funny. Gedeon is a hole plugger no way he could cover a receiver or play sideline to sideline like kendricks does. Not even close to being an acceptable replacement. I like Gedeon for what he is asked to do, but let's not kid ourselves, if he was asked to do what Kendricks does it would be ugly as he out there.

I like Kendricks alot. I just think they'll plug Gedeon in at Mike and sub in a will or nickle corner as needed if they run into cap issues resigning the players they want

yep, you are fully entitled to be as wrong as you want to be. Ben is a good football player, but in no way is he a replacement for what EK does for this defense. modern defenses spend to much time in nickle and dime coverage to rely on a traditional mike linebacker which is what Gedeon is. he will have a role in run situations, but he doesnt have the athleticism to play mike on most down in todays NFL.

You can't be serious here. Gideon isn't taking anything over anything, he's a fringe player that is fundamentally sound but gets limited snaps.
If it was 1970, Gideon wouldn't be a bad MLB...
