Meh, don't agree with this. But Souhan loves to be the bitter little bitch. Where's the vitriol for Cook?

And Patrick Peterson who missed a critical game and his backup gave up the winning TD at the buzzer.  And every other player who missed a game because of Covid.  It doesn't matter if they are vaxxed or not, they have all missed games, critical games.
It absolutely does matter if they are vaxxed or not, because first off, you are much less likely to get severe symptoms if you are vaccinated (or even symptoms at all now that the NFL is only testing symptomatic individuals), and second, the NFL rules treat you very differently if you are unvaccinated as well.  Being unvaccinated as a player absolutely affects both yourself and the team that is paying you millions.

There is no way to prevent COVID-19, but there are definitely steps you can take to mitigate both the risks and consequences.
So the arbitrary rules are what matter.  Kirk already had covid.  Did just fine.  And from the Vikings experience, more vaxxed players have missed games than unvaxxed.  So why aren't the vaxxed to blame?

Let's end this wonderful season on the same note as it started..educating each other on Covid using our WEBMD credentials.
Yeah let’s not. I’m sure Waterboy is getting excited about the Kirk/Covid news

You guys don't get it Greed.  New rule changes 2 weeks ago with NFL Covid policy that weren't in place when PP caught it.

Unvaccinated players = mandatory 5 days isolation = zero chance he plays

Vaccinated players can be exempt from isolation.  They can re-test starting the day after a positive test.  Then 2 negative tests 24 hours apart, you can take the field.

He pops positive on Friday, but being Vaccinated he can re-test Saturday morning and again Sunday morning.  No guarantees but there would have been a chance.

Selfish choice.  Fuck that guy, Unvaccinated players missing games deserve to lose game checks IMO.

Cousins did not test positive in the preseason, he was deemed a close contact as an unvaccinated player, actually.

The anti-Cousins crowd has Mackey & Souhan carrying the torches for them.....speaks volumes.

Confused why Mannion starting over Mond is controversial, or even surprising. Mannion is the backup and has been all year.  Only reason to start Mond is to see what you've got. You sure as hell wouldn't do that with the playoffs on the line. I know most of us have given up on the season, but the Vikings obviously can't.

The Vikings will probably start with Mannion and maybe use Mond as an occasional running option or goal line QB. If Mannion keeps us in the game, great. But if he sucks, you can always put in Mond. Doing it the other way around would be a huge mistake IMO.

But he didn't have Covid.  He was merely a close contact who had to isolate due to being unvaccinated.
