Lindstrom comes up yet again...
The DN guys have been hyping him since the Senior Bowl. Sounds like a good fit for us.

Hakeem Butler is interesting. He's going to be very tempting at his size, might even go in the 1st round, but I'd take Deebo Samuel over him every day of the week.

JEFFERY SIMMONSDL, COLLEGE PLAYER
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Mississippi State DT Jeffery Simmons suffered a torn ACL during a pre-draft training session. It is a devastating blow for a player who was expected to be a first-round pick despite not being invited to the Combine because of a 2016 incident in which he was seen punching a woman multiple times while she was on the ground. He pleaded no contest to a simple assault charge following the incident. A big (6-foot-4, 300 pounds) interior disruptor, it is possible a team takes a shot on Simmons Day 2 despite his injury and off-field concerns.

Man, if he's there Day 2 in the second, he's worth a redshirt season...

Man, if we could trade back bit in the 1st, grab a guy like Dalton Risner, then come back in the 2nd with someone like Michael Dieter...I think we'd be Gold Jerry, Gold! Figure Elflein improves just by being healthy and not recovering from offseason surgeries, O'Neill taking a leap forward, new O-line coaches....yeah, I'd be pumped.

I'm all about Risner at 18. Guy can play anywhere on the line. And for a team with a lot of moving parts and positional uncertainty that kind of versatility will be huge.

Doesn't get much better than this 3 rounder.

Exactly. No need to get cute. The line can be upgraded tremendously with this draft.

Reached out to several NFL executives about Mississippi state DT Jefferey Simmons. I’ve had four responses so far, and all four say he will fall out of the first round due to his torn ACL.
