Spent 6 months wringing hands over the WR3 when he was on the team all along. Osborn's rise has to be the biggest surprise of camp. I didn't even have him making the team.
You, me, and everyone else that closely follows the team.  Lol
Hopefully he can translate this strong camp play to regular season production.

Thats how i see it also. i remeber last year in camp they talked about him flashing but then he was pretty much worthless in games.

Hopefully with his consistency in camp this year translates to gamedays.

Alot of all pro’s didnt produce their first couple years.

All these guys from last year had promise bit didnt show up in games.  Osborn, Lynch, Samia. etc. its hard to be patient as a fan

In that boat as well. If Kirk and some of the other starters are planning to play a few drives in the next couple of preseason games then I say you make WR3 a tryout in those. See how they all look and go from there

Heard the Vikings FTW guy say that the Vikings will work him out now, but if they sign him, it may not happen until after week 1. That eliminates guaranteed money in his contract and allows the Vikings to sneak a guy on the PS a week after final cut feeding frenzy.

Reunion: The #Vikings are expected to sign veteran pass-rusher Everson Griffen, who worked out for his old friends last week, source said. Griffen had 6 sacks last year for the #Cowboys and #Lions, but spent every season prior in Minnesota.

Everson Griffen in 2020:

- 63.2 overall grade
- 73.6 pass rush grade (80.1 once traded to Detroit)
- 33 pressures

His pass rush grade would’ve been higher than any 2020 #Vikings pass rusher outside of Yannick Ngakoue (74.3)

Can confirm the Vikings are going to sign defensive end Everson Griffen, per source. Terms of his deal are still being worked out. Minnesota sought out pass rush help and is reuniting with the long-time Vikings edge rusher who spent 10 seasons w/ the team before a yr in DAL/DET.

Wow, Vikings sure appear to be going for it this year. Bittersweet though, knowing this might be their best roster in decades, but all still very much at the mercy of one or two key players testing positive at pivotal moments, threatening to bring the whole thing crashing down.
