Wondering who they were and what they were about I looked into their backgrounds. One is a pro wrestling guy. That should tell you all you need to know. Here's what I've found with people like Cronin, etc or 'sports journalists' her age: they are under the surface dismissive of fans. That what they are reporting on shouldn't have the importance placed on it by some fans. A little too 'cool for school' attitude, like they are above what they are talking about to some extent. Sarcastic at times. Usually planting politics into their podcasts, etc. And they are very sensitive to criticism. Anyone else get that vibe?
This job of theirs is paying the bills. Giving them visibility in the media.

I didn't sense a dismissiveness of fans...at least on their podcast. They don't really engage with fans there. Maybe they do locally.
To me it was more about saying stupid things. Things about the draft or contracts or the cap that just weren't true, or lacked knowledge of how those things work. Here's one: Vikings should "jump at the chance" to trade Cousins to the 49ers for Jimmy G and a 2nd round pick. :#
