Guy has enough $$ to pay for the most beautiful, exotic mistress the world has to offer. And it can be done in the privacy of the most fabulous suites on the planet.

Instead he decides to swing into the local orchid massage parlor in some strip mall next to the local Publix.

WTF? Maybe he has so much $$ and so many SB rings he just doesn't give a F UCK what the world thinks?
Maybe the 4 seasons doesnt allow 13 year old "escorts"?  This might be a sign of a bigger issue here than just prostitution.
Well put Jimmy and something a lot of folks don’t think about.
This is not the 1st of these task forces they've put together down here. It's important to also remember that while the thought of 13 year olds is awful. It's awful for alot of young women as well. They busted several before. Bringing in girls from other countries and forcing them into this shit. Even something as seemingly innocent as a strip club is not always victimless. Getting such a big name as this hopefully opens people's eyes to what kind of things are really going on. People are talking about it as least.

I heard this morning that Kraft will probably get no jail time and a $500 fine.  So it doesn't sound at all that this had to do with underage girls, at least I really hope not.  Either way, sex trafficking is becoming a huge issue and like you said, I'm just glad that it is now getting more attention from law enforcement and the media.

I hope they keep the focus on what's important. This crap is happening in our country. Modern day slavery. It has been something I've been aware of in my state going back to 2003 when they formed a task force then to clean out the human trafficking before the Super Bowl. I read Minneapolis did the same last year before theirs. This shouldn't be something that these cities only worry about before big events. In 2017 they had another big sting down here. I really have to believe Kraft and that CEO guy didn't know what was going on behind the scenes. I mean I REALLY have to. Otherwise it's even sadder that men with power have that little regard for the helpless. If I was his judge I know what community service I would ask him to perform. Education on human trafficking. It would be a big PR boost if he did it on his own.

Regardless, a billionaire is only going to get a slap on the wrist in any situation. And when you slap that wrist, don't make eye contact. And then apologize immediately afterwards. Then walk backwards out of the room with a slight bow while looking at the floor.

They usually do big stings in this realm during superbowl week as many high rollers have sick desires.
As to why, it is where this leads.  It isn't just the sex, it is also the danger in it.  Porn and seeking prostitution is ultimately unfulfilling, leaving a need for something more base or dangerous.

There is your answer to why a billionaire would go to a place like this. More then once apparently. He could afford the high class and discrete (mostly) delivered to his room. Maybe that just wasn't nasty enough anymore. Just a hunch.

Lastly, and more importantly, I agree with what the late George Carlin said about prostitution ...
HOW CAN IT BE ILLEGAL TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS PERFECTLY LEGAL TO GIVE AWAY FOR FREE?

That's not the problem, the problem is a large amount of the young women involved in this are forced or coerced. Its not free will. Its sex trafficking. That's what some don't understand and the crux of it.
I don't think people don't understand the crux of it but you have to be careful how you talk about this, it can be taken out of context very easily. Now if what you hear is Robert Kraft was among 96 people busted in a sex trafficking ring, it makes it sound like he was one of the people running the whole thing.  That is how I first heard the story and my initial though was what a piece of garbage this guy is.  Then when I heard he received a happy ending and got caught my first thought was if this were anyone but Robert Kraft we would hardly hear a thing about this story.  We have a asian spa place here where I am from and they were doing the same thing and got busted last year. How many outside of ND heard about that ?  I bet most in ND didnt even hear about it.

At the same token even if he didn't know. Which I don't believe he did. He put himself in this situation and he never stopped to think why services were so cheap. A billionaire getting $75 handjobs. Now his real price is the humiliation. These places do get busted all the time. He made it national news. Maybe something good can come of this now. If he wanted to help restore his image he has the power to speak up and say I didn't know but I was wrong and these places need to be stopped. I doubt he will. He's by my opinion not that good a man.

I'm not following you here how it relates to what I said. Yeah, its national news because Robert Kraft got busted, but human sex trafficking is a big deal, especially in certain parts of the country. Go to any airport and you'll see signs in the woman's bathroom that say 'look for these signs' concerning young girls being forced to get on planes, etc. Woman from China, etc. are being promised jobs here in the U.S. as maids, etc and then are forced/coerced into the sex trade. Its a multi-billion dollar industry that is only growing. Its forced sexual slavery. Police try to nip this by embarassing the johns that pay for it by shaming them with public photos and names when they are busted, its why this info got out.

I never thought for one second that Kraft was RUNNING the whole thing when the news broke, lmao.

didnt gillette just have some sort of campaign that was centered around "toxic masculinity"  and now this from the face of the company?  holy shit.

these types of places are modern day slavery,  imagine the outrage if it was found that blacks were being held captive and forced to work for somebody.... the country would riot and people would die.... so why do we have little more than a raised eyebrow when its young women and girls being raped and sexually exploited for profit?
