Corrente, Morelli, Steratore, who’s hiring the NFL referee’s, John Gotti?   Confused

LT Decker leaving early all game as well.  Not only was it the game they wanted closer, but the division.

Or at least confine them to only doing Browns games.

And still, Zimmer says nothing. He needs to make it uncomfortable for the NFL and the officials when they blatantly screw his team. Otherwise, there is no reason not to. He needs to Man up; talk about the no call on Diggs and compare that to the P.I. on Rhodes. Bring photos to the press conference. Identify by name who called the PI on Rhodes and who decided not to call it on the Diggs play. Talk about what effect the call and the no call had on the game. Let them know that your players work too hard every day and risk injury every play and it is not too much to ask that professional refs be both competent and neutral. But I'm sure he won't . . . until a blown call ends our season. Too bad.

Yes sir.  I mean I can live with the two PI calls they called on us to give Detroit an opportunity to score before half...  But to call those and then NOT call the OBVIOUS PI on Diggs???

C'mon man...
i was listening to the game on Westwood 1 radio and they were going apoplectic on the Diggs non-call.  Said it was the worst blown call they'd ever seen. Sad

On the “taunting” by Keenum, why did they not call excessive celebration on the Lions? Isn’t it still illegal to do group celebrations on non-TD plays?
Apparently it's ok unless it's the Vikings. I thought that taunting penalty was ridiculous. I will have to rewatch but that facemask on Kendricks looked weak. And of course that lack of pass interference on Diggs was insane. They overcame the refs.
The facemask was a horrible call.  Almost thought Aaron Rodgers was out there for that one.

The non overturned catch on the sidelines was also bad.  I could clearly see the ball moving and touch the ground.

The taunting on case was there.  He tossed the ball at the guy who had sacked him.  It was weak, but I understand that call.  The non pi was just awful.  Blandino said the ref had his hand on the flag but decided to not throw it.  Wtf

I am guessing Zimmer is doing not saying anything publicly to avoid any fines from the NFL. In one of the articles on ESPN 1500 Minneapolis, he does state he told the team they knew this would happen and they had to keep their cool. So it seemed they were expecting bad calls. That alone is a disgusting and disturbing thought. I am probably just a fat bald grouchy old man, but I have thought for years, that the NFL dictates who wins and loses, especially at play off time. Drew Pearson push off and the beating of Farve in the New Orleans game. When Farve was with GB, if you farted on him, it was a penalty, yet in the New Orleans game, they damn near killed him and nothing.  Yesterday's call took the whole crappy ref thing and the NFL we want a certain team to win to an all new level. No holding on Detroit, the face mask, the non call on PI on Diggs and the taunting call on Keenum are all beyond explanation, except the NFL trying to dictate the games to promote their own agenda.
A sad state of affairs and is killing the game and driving fans away. Sorry for the long incoherent rambling.

On another note, the cheer leading announcers do not help my sweet disposition either !
