newflash: Ingram still sucks, lets Bosa run right by him for the sack...  He's got to be replaced ASAP...
Thankfully they brought Risner in. Replacement is coming soon.
Theres not a chance that an average guard will be worse than the shit Ingram has done.

this team is so frustrating. The one thing it seems under KOC, we seem to play to the level of competition. When will we have a game where our TVs arent under constant threat of having a beer theown at them.

First half thoughts are p much the same as the first 2 games: We aren’t that bad, but we also aren’t that good.

we sure do not look like a playoff team. Not enough pressure n the opponent QB and still dropping the ball all over the field.

Positives
  • There are stretches where the offense is moving well.
  • Once they finally started targeting Jefferson they were getting explosive plays.
  • There is some semblance of a running game today.
  • Pace had a really nice stop on 3rd & goal
Negatives
  • Poor containment by the D. The few times they get pressure, the middle of the field is open for Herbert to run up. I know he's a hard matchup, but the pass rush has been ineffective today.
  • They are up to 8 fumbles in 3 games and nearly had a 9th. While some of that is flukey, it is still terrible. Combination of bad blocking, players getting held up, and Mattison has not shown he can protect the ball, especially in obvious running situations, the opposing D has been ready for him and he coughs it up.
  • They almost had a good momentum to end the half, then get shredded in the 2-minute drill. They nearly had a nice goal line stand, but when you keep giving the other team chances, they will eventually get it.
  • The pass protection continues to struggle. I get when there is interior pressure with Schlottman and Ingram, but the pressure on the edges is what frustrates me.

Herbert is so clean in that pocket. Zero pressure and he is making all the throws
