Boca Raton where I live has declared a state of emergency: all bars and restaurants closed except for take out or delivery. Beaches closed. My wife was ahead of the curve on this and we have plenty of food and provisions at home. We plan to help support local restaurants by getting take out at least 2 times a week for dinner. 

This is going to be especially hard for Americans that are used to doing anything they want at any time. My wife and I had a glass of wine by the pool last night and talked about that. But self containing really is the right thing to do. So many of these kids that are under 26 are going to be carriers and spread it all over the place. Its going to get a lot worse. But it will pass....but not anytime soon.

My girlfriend works at a cancer center near Asheville. Their clinic manager believes pandemic is no big deal and isn't putting any additional protocols in place other than screening at the door. There are more safety precautions in place at the local Culvers restaurant.
