Read a report on X that 24 minneapolis PD officers gave resigned over shit that frey has said, and that 18 of them have hired on with ICE. I missed it, but apparently Frey said that the people of minneapolis have been asking for the police to fight ICE? Its crazy becuase in other areas where the local and state cooperates and assists we dont hear of all these problems, and have heard that the legals are assisting behind the scenes to make their neighborhoods safer by tipping off ICE as to who and where.
EDIT: the part about MPD appears to have been fake news.

Havent heard a word about MPD officer resignations here.
Frey has been clear about the need to demonstrate peacefully.

I didnt see it on fox, but it looks like thats where it originated, same shit the left has been doing to Trump, fox reporter did to Frey, selectively edited comments to deceive. He did talk about citizens calling for him to have the cops fight the ice agents, but did encourage peaceful opposition. I guess he's as guilty as Trump when it comes to Jan 6th 2020.
Stand by the rest though, the cities and state not cooperating with the feds are causing the problems, especially with the rhetoric thrown by their leadership and the undocumented, and unvetted importing of illegal immigrants. When you look at the staggering numbers on the public tit, its not like you are bringing in workers or largely contributing members of your society. Anybody undocumented that is tied to the fraud in anyway needs to be immediately deported, and any Americans tied to it need to be jailed, all need to have all money and possessions seized and used to recover taken money and costs of the investigations and operations, including the politicians involved.

Jimmy my friend, we are tired and fatigued up here in gods MN...And we have commonalities across the aisle in that we all want safer cities and criminals behind bars or departed.
The good news is that over 80% of this country has seen the videos of the shooting. It may not be changing either sides minds, but it's being seen.
There is a lot going on here that doesn't make the national news feeds and it gets overwhelming. So much so, that you need to turn it off and not watch the news, especially to start your day...
We'll see how all of this one day manifests itself in the MN Governors race, mid-terms and ultimately Potus 28. In the meantime, it's cold as hell here today and I get to watch lots of football through Monday night - and avoid the news.

Loved Fred!
But he wouldn’t worry right now/current events situation.
Dems are imploding:
Based on polls conducted in 2025, the Democratic Party and Congressional Democrats hit record-low approval ratings in several surveys, with some metrics reaching their lowest points in over 30 years.
Key findings regarding the low approval ratings include:
Quinnipiac University Poll (Dec. 2025): Congressional Democrats' approval rating sank to a record low of 18% in December 2025, with 73% of voters disapproving, the lowest in that poll's history since 2009.
Wall Street Journal Poll (July 2025): Only 33% of voters held a favorable view of the Democratic Party, with 63% viewing it unfavorably. This marked the lowest rating for the party in the newspaper's records dating back to 1990.
CNN Poll (March 2025): The Democratic Party's favorability dropped to 28%, the lowest in CNN's polling history since 1992.
Voter Sentiment: Voters in these polls increasingly described the party as "out of touch," "weak," and lacking a clear economic message.
2 of the 3 biggest issues concerning voters last year, were immigration and crime (economy 3rd).
There is nothing about these Somali fraud/ice shooting events that favor the Dems in wooing common sense Americans and independents to their pov.
Events have rallied their lunatic fringe base, tho. Always entertaining.

I dont care about the party self destructing, it wont go away, it will just change its face, what concerns me is to what extent will its fringe elements and their financiers go to in order to inflict as much damage possible on this country as they lose control, like openly disrupting a church service, what's next, fire bombing a church or even a church service?
The lefty media still has a strong grip on the narratives in this country, dont underestimate their ability to craft a false narrative and whip factions of that left base into violence. Look at Don Lemon and the Minnesota church shit, they want him prosecuted, he should be prosecuted, but that will only make him a martyr in the eyes of many on the left and fuel the rage even further. I know of churches that already have members conceal carry at services to protect against loonies trying to shoot up a service, how are these radical lefties going to react when guns are pointed at them? I suspect most will lose their will, but some wont and more bodies will hit the ground.

I doubt many want hardened criminals from South America bunking down in their communities or next door.
But I suspect a lot of people aren't happy with "HOW" ICE is doing their job.
Here's a recent example that made people shake their heads..Elderly (US Citizen) Hmong grandpa was carried away with a 30 degree (below zero) windchill last Sunday while babysitting his grandkid...Nope, the sex abusers who supposedly (look like him) and live their dont...I wonder if the Feds will replace the old guys door they broke down.
Will it carry over to the voting booth some-day? For some 100% it will. Others? probably not. Depends on what else is going on of course
It's a good thing (?) both sides have a looney fringe to balance everything out...The sad thing is, they are the mouthpieces for both sides of the aisle these days and it gets amplified with media/social media.
As an out of state friend of mine likes to say, it will do us all some good to change the channel now and then.

there are going to be some that make you scratch your head or even get angry, but by and large they are going to be a very small minority of the arrests and I suspect that ICE isnt wanting to fuck around to long at any one location, they are likely moving like extraction teams, hit the area fast, secure it, grab their targets, and get out as quickly as possible to avoid as many issues as they can with locals to avoid heightened altercations with non targets. ( target is not a good word, but I am not sure what they right word is... )
