Great, I see it’s cutting off what I wrote again. Might as well delete that.

What if Kwesi pivoted completely? Traded down from #11 and/or #23. Acquired picks in this draft and/or the 2025 draft in order to take a shot at a QB next year.

I think the top 4 spots are sealed. Outside of something really stupid, its #5 that is potentially doable. But I don't think Minnesota is thinking 'whatever it takes'.....not for the #4 QB. Los Angeles will have to be at least reasonable.

Maybe if the Vikings fail to find a trade partner for the QB, they take defense at 11 and trade 23 (or move it down and then trade it) for a 1st and change next year.

Or stay at 11 and take Verse or best d-line and then QB at 23 Nix or Penix.

If Kwesi trades DOWN in this draft from either position, he looks like a complete idiot.  What would have been  the purpose of trading for the second first rounder in the first place

To put us in a better position to trade up for a QB. But it didn't come with a guarantee that it was going to work. If it doesn't, I wouldn't force an ill fit. The Vikings are going to get two very good players there. But if the value is consistent between 23 and, say, 35, then a trade down might make some sense, especially if it gets you a second 1st rounder next year.

Here's another problem with trading down; 2022, if he repeats that act then he is proving to be either the worst GM in NFL history or that he is being paid by the Lions and the Packers.

Can't he be both?
