MANNION . . . why is the QB position the only one that has a non threat backup

Great question. Remember we can't have any decent competition for Kirk. I have no idea how we ended up with Mannion as #2.

thats the thing. We are phuked with Cousins contract through next year at least. Even if we had somebody ready it wouldnt  matter. 

They have to do something. Regardless of the contract, change is needed. 

We absolutely need to draft a starting QB next draft. We can't handcuff the team anymore because of a bad contract for Kirk. 
The problem is, I am not sure I trust Spellman to get us a starting QB.

The backup QB position has been embarrassing on this team for 10 (20?) years. Other good teams all over the league have above avg backup QBs as a hedge against injury or bad play. It's just smart. We do not. Never have. It makes no sense. Mannion is terrible.

Spielman puts his pants on after he puts his fucking shoes on.  Why no one has an issue with this, why no one sees this as telling, I'll never know.
Done with him, Zim, and Cousins. 

Promote Paton and Patterson, trade Cousins for a bag of balls and move on.
