Let's see... a healthy Cam Newton or Jarrett Stidham? At worst it couldn't hurt NE. And in Carolina Cam certainly got used to throwing to crap WR. Should feel like old times :p
Leave it to NE to get a former MVP, who is still only 31, on a minimum salary deal. Talk about low risk high reward. I think Cam is a shell of himself, but their defense is damn good and they have just enough weapons on offense to win that division. Sorry Buffalo, but I think ya'll got a little too cocky too soon.
I can't wait to see Cam and Bill standing in proximity, getting off team bus, airport or post game presser.

BB is going to get as many bodies as he can at the position and figure out who his best bet is. Yah, this is exactly low risk/high reward.
I can't remember if they did something this draft @ QB or not?

They did nothing in the draft which is why this is such a perfect situation for both parties. The Pats like Stidham but he has no experience so this signing definitely makes sense

But plenty of people said essentially the same thing about Bill B. having Randy Moss on his team - or Antonio Brown or Josh Gordon. Yeah, Brown did not work out for NE but it was not because he and Belichick couldn't stand to be in the same room. People act like Belichick can only deal with well-behaved old-school players but he put up with Brady playing celebrity games and Gronk's psycho behavior. IMO a lot of his success is that he doesn't really care what the players' personality is if they show up and produce.
How is Cam going to run the Patriot offense well?

It isn't that BB only deals with old-school well behaved players, but that his no-nonsense approach leads to well behaved players. If you recall, Josh Gordon, AB, Randy, and many other "essential" stars were shown the door, often mid-season. Brady plays celebrity on his own time. In the building he is all business. Rarely did you see a player go off schedule in the building. And if they did, they weren't around long.
Now can Cam fit that mold, probably. I think he enjoyed the lime-light and being the star. But that shooting star flamed out quickly and if he wants to play for BB, it probably will be on Bill's terms.

Part of the incentives of the deal allow Bill to hire a fashion director for Cam-loose-Screwton

It's just the visual, I could care less how they get along, it's the odd couple persona. Personally when I see Cam I say, this is what happens when parents dress their kids their whole childhood, when the parents aren't around this is what happens.
