ESPN's Todd McShay believes that TCU DT Ross Blacklock is "one of the most underrated prospects in the country.""He is an athletic lineman with great size and power, and he plays with good effort," McShay writes of the 6-foot-4, 305-pound Blacklock. The analyst currently ranks the TCU defender as his No. 12 overall prospect for April's draft. While Blacklock came back strong in 2019 from an Achilles injury which cost him the whole of the 2018 campaign -- he logged 40 tackles (9.0 for loss) and three sacks in the fall -- medical checks figure to be important, here, as pro teams look to make sure that there are no lingering loose ends with the earlier injury.

Just did a bunch of research on Blacklock. Kinlaw will almost certainly be gone and there's some who think that Gallimore is more of a 1 than a 3 tech. That leaves Blacklock, who seems to be all over the board on the various rankings. But I think given his pass rush chops, he's definitely one of the half dozen or so candidates for the Vikings at 25.

Agreed on Gallimore but don't sleep on Madubuike. PFF is all on on Elliot. I think there's a chance there's a kid with legit pass rushing upside that will be available in the 2nd Round.

The little I watched of Gallimore in the senior bowl was a mixed bag...seemed late off the line frequently...

PFF is gaga for Elliott also. There may very well be a 3T and a CB at 25 but no Tackles. If the players are similarly graded on their Big Board it will be interesting to see what the selection is.

I really like Elliott for what its worth. He won't be a day 1 starter since his game isn't well rounded and he'll get eaten up in the run game. But boy, as a pass rusher he can get up-field in a hurry and create problems. He also doesn't have a full pass rushing arsenal developed yet, so for a coaching staff like the Vikings... he will have some appeal.

25. MINNESOTA VIKINGS — DI MARLON DAVIDSON, AUBURNDavidson was one of the biggest movers with his play at the Senior Bowl a couple of weeks ago. He has prototypical 3-tech traits even though he played mostly on the edge at Auburn. Earning an 83.8 pass-rushing grade playing out of position in the SEC is pretty dang impressive.
