I think you should continue posting. Just don't take it so seriously. I mean, for Christ's sake, you're talking to folks who voted for a man who gets into twitter wars with teen Hollywood, who think Hillary Clinton ran a child sex ring out of a pizza place, who think school shooting victims are crisis actors and eggheaded academics are motived by greed to lie about the climate, while oil companies are telling us the truth.

Do you talk to street preachers too? Sometimes its best to just let it go.
Actually, I didn't vote for him.  And neither did greediron.
Count me on that list as well.  I'm a fiscal conservative and Trump is far far far away from that.  I did however buy one of his knock off red hats to wear to Christmas in 2016.  Bout sent my Brother in law to the loony bin over it.  Those that know me knew I was just string the pot.  I thought it was hilarious.

I'm being a dick for pointing out the obvious:

The Dow hasn't gained shit since the trade wars started.  Spin it however you want, you can't escape it and accept the basic math.

You can continue to deny it all you want, but at this point you're the only one here in denial.  It's beyond comical.

At least you've accepted the Dow has flatlined for some strange reason, but you're going to keep pimping the great results prior to the tariffs when the USA was still using Obama's policies and economy, and scratch your head why it's such a mystery we have seen no net gains in 15 months since Trump's policies started. The timing with the tariffs is just pure coincidence ....  truly remarkable.

FYI I could care less about Hillary, the only ones who care about her are Trump and his supporters because after 5 years of being out of office you still can't shut up about her.

Netflix has a documentary out right now about flat earthers (called Behind The Curve). Watching that reminded me that talking to the people in this thread is pointless. Yeah, I've basically resorted to just acting like an asshole, but it's because pointing out basic, irrefutable facts like you're doing for them will just fall on deaf ears. Flat earthers, anti-vaxxers, Trump-supporters... they're all fundamentally the same. This distrust in government that's been sowed over the years has created such a paranoia, such an anti-science movement that it's almost impossible to change their minds no matter how much you talk.

Trump's policies aside, if he were caught dead to rights on camera behind closed doors with Putin discussing overthrowing the US government and undermining, the people in this thread would scream conspiracy/fake news, or they'd justify it as a good thing somehow.

Meanwhile, Obama didn't wear a flag lapel to a debate 10 years ago and these were the same people that used that as proof that he hates America.
Did I not just post with facts?  A well reasoned argument?  You post in response to SFvikes post was from mine.  Where have I flat earthed or antivaxed?  It seems to me that youre the one with their fingers in their ears yelling about everyone else not listening.   Please do post a well reasoned position as to why the economy has sat stagnat without accounting for the Federal Reserves actions?

Oh abd Fyi, Obama did get caught on camera talking to the Rusian about his “flexibility” after the 2012 election.

Hey, respond to him. I was just pointing out how pointless it is to talk to people like yourself.

Oh abd FYI, https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/obama-more-flexibility-russia/. Do you not realize the absolute, complete amount of GFY hypocrisy on your part? Is your head buried in the sand? This is why it's such a waste of time. If you're calling that out, you can't call out the Trump admin?

Holy fuck why did I ever start posting on this message board again? I blame myself, in the long run here.
Nope, you grabbed SFvikes response to my economy post and reffered to me as a: Flat earthers, anti-vaxxers, Trump-supporters... they're all fundamentally the same
When you do that.  I get to defend myself.  I'm equally as pissed about antivaxers.  We have 1 in our family and 1 in our friend circle.  I've basically lost the friend because I didn't want to be around their children while another friend was being treated for cancer.

As to your snoopes article.  You specifically said "if he (Trump) were caught dead to rights on camera behind closed doors with
Putin discussing overthrowing the US government and undermining, the
people in this thread would scream conspiracy/fake news, or they'd justify it as a good thing somehow."

All I did was provide a time that a sitting president WAS actually caught on camera discussing how he could go against the will of the people after his election was finalized.  If you cannot see the humor in that then I guess there really not much left to say on the

Has anyone here actually suggested that Clinton was running
a pedophile ring out of a pizza place?
There’s a lot of evidence that people in her circle are at least on the
pedophile spectrum, although probably none showing actual molestation of
children.  I don’t think there’s any
evidence of HRC herself doing anything that we know of.  The big one is probably Anthony Weiner, who
is getting out of jail soon for sexting with a minor and has to register as a
sex offender (also charged with Child Porn).
The Podestas had super creepy artwork.
Comet Ping Pong had super creepy artwork and hosted bands that sang
songs that could only be considered pedophiliac.

So while people she hangs out with are definitely in the
sketchy territory, I don’t think hardly anyone is putting this on HRC herself.

Watched the clip.  "adequately predicated" needs to be included.  Otherwise its clickbait.  He said that spying occurred on the Trump campaign but that they may have followed the rules.  He makes it a point that the broader intelligence communities may have followed the rules but that there might be trouble for individuals involved.

Troublesome if you are the ones involved in the Steele dossier that was used to to get the fisa warrant.

The question isn’t whether there was spying.  The question is whether it was adequately predicated.   Meaning ... was there a legitimate reason to spy.

The dossier, and testimony by these treasonous scum - prove there was no predicate.

It was planned.  Insurance policy.

Yeah, I was leading the never trumpers during the primaries. Thought we had lost it all.  Then he actually started paying attention and his agenda since getting elected has been better than any recent presidents.

But lies and obfuscation are standard fare.  Don't actually answer the questions, just move on to a new baseless accusation.  Like the completely debunked kids in a cage.  That is embarassing.

Isn't it funny... how none of us voted for Trump; yet we are being portrayed as "Trumpists"?  It's almost like they can't win on the basis of their arguments, so they just put labels on people to try to silence their opinion.  Almost...

I agree with this. I am not a fan of him. But I can appreciate what he has already acomplished and am hoping that it continues. My biggest complaints are his exagerations and that dang twitter account of his.

But you, the board Christian, supports a man who locked kids in cages and then tried to blame the previous administration... you're an interesting duck, pumpf. I'm no Christian, but as seriously as you take it, you'd think you'd burn a few calories on children that already exist and not just abortion.
I don't support that (of course, your characterization of it is wildly misleading... but I'm not going to try to argue that point with you; I'm sure you have your mind made up already).

No, that's not wildly misleading at all. That's what happened. This administration enforced a policy to deter illegal immigration by separating children from their parents after a certain amount of days in holding.

I DO support our laws being enforced, including our immigration laws.  And if those kids are suffering, it is because of the decisions that their parents (or their kidnappers) have made.

Exactly what Jesus would say. "I'd like to help, but their parents did this to them. Laws are laws!"

So what's the solution?  Let everyone in, who is willing to use a child as a human shield? You know, every time that a parent goes to jail, they are "separated" from their children.  So, what: if liberals started screaming about that, would you support letting parents out of jail- so that "families can be together"?  After all, it's all about the children, right? You want my answer? Here it is: If I had my way, the wall would be up... immigration would be regulated... and people would stop using and abusing children for their own benefit.  And I believe that that seems pretty consistent with my beliefs about abortion: that children are not property, to be used as parents see fit.

Fair enough. We just disagree. I don't see illegal immigration as nearly as much of a problem as this lying president has made it out to be. Most of these people are fleeing awful conditions in their home countries. You know, they're your brothers and sisters just trying to give their families the life you were born into. But again, I see your point: politics and country over Christianity. Got it.

SF is too honest to answer my question about Down Syndrome (because he knows he can't give a defense for loving people with Down Syndrome yet supporting the extermination of them)... but you're alot more willing to engage in a conversation.  So here goes: what is your solution to the border crisis?

Well, for one, we don't have a border crisis. We have a problem that could be addressed, but calling it a crisis is Fox News hysteria that's just scaring the Trumpers. Rather than ramble, here's a quick podcast from a border sheriff in Arizona that gives great arguments to both sides. In fact, it's such a calm argument that it almost neutralizes any hostility on the issue.
