Thats kinda of my recollection as well...I'm too lazy to look it up, but I think history says teams that were blown-up in CG's don't fair well the next season. 

My hope is:
  • Finally we have the QB solved
  • We're a perennial playoff contender
  • Consistently win the division & give ourselves a chance to find that one, happy ending season that has alluded the franchise for 51 years

Championship teams rarely do well the following year either. I like our chances playing Philly a lot better game 1 next season, with a fresh defense, than the worn down group we had in December. Add to that we just blew our wad the week before, having performed a miracle.
