I can barely remember but i want to say in east central SD in the late 70s early 80s it was duck.  Can't say for sure but duck sounds right.

When I was a boy in Minnesota. We always said duck...duck...gray duck.   Never heard it called "Goose".

When I was a kid...  it was Duck, Duck, Gray Duck.  Born and raised in Minnesota.  It's the same thing with a water fountain, drinking fountain, or whatever you want to call something that shoots water out for people to drink.  In Wisconsin, it's called a "bubbler"...  WTF???  A BUBBLER???  I don't see any bubbles coming out of it...
