scoog!  any relation to Whitey Scoog?  He played with Hot Rod Huntley, Clyde Lavellette, George Mikan as a member of the Minneapolis Lakers. a venerable name to be sure!
Nope.  It's just a childhood nickname that happens to overlap a somewhat common Swedish surname making it appropriate for a Vikings fan board.

I think that they are no longer flying under the radar and there is a lot of film on them.  It will be interesting to see if the coaching staff can continue to come up with new things to keep them going forward.
As a team, no, but it still seems like individual honors are snubs.

"All fair. But the Vikings were 19-13 in the last two years. They weren’t
coming from the depths that McVay and Doug Marrone were."

IOW, because their predecessors were so bad, their replacements must be top notch.  The fact that Zimmer is doing that with a different leading passer and rusher in 2015, 2016, and 2017 isn't nearly as important for determining how good a coach is.

I am having difficulty understanding what your reply has to do with my post.

You said that "they are no longer flying under the radar"  My point is that the team seems to be getting some recognition as a whole but not some key individuals.  Rick has done a better job building a team than Thompson whose whole career is based on getting lucking when Rodgers dropped in the draft for whatever reason.  Peter King is not even considering Zimmer as Coach of the Year in spite of all the adversity he's coached the team through.  And then there's Harrison's snub.

Nope.  Give it a few more weeks.

Good to see they sorted the uneccessary penalties out this week.

Next, let's get our pass rush back...that is concerning

They could have earlier in the year because last night looked like other then the secondary no one was there to play.  Bad game.

I will take the win

The field was slick and hard as a rock. I hate these bullshit late year outside playing conditions, super cold and the football quality suffers because of it.

Hopefully next year they reverse the order and do the late game at home for the vikings.
