I know Buffalo was at home but them being favored never made sense to me. Banged up. Two days less rest. All the pressure on them. Just about every intangible factor favored KC last night and in a close game, the defending champs pulled it out.
Both teams played great and both teams made moronic blunders. Unlike on Saturday night, I didn't care who won. Classic game.

The AFC Championship Game will probably best the SB for good football.

Dont see SF or Det beating LaMar and The Ravens...

 The Chiefs? Maybe.

Chiefs are my secind favorite team because they are only about an hour further from me than the cities. However, part of me wanted the Bills to win because of their snake bit histiry is the same as ours.

The Bills not only hung in there, they missed opportunities to win. Josh Allen played his heart out, but he missed so many passes with overthrows.  On a number of the gazillion check downs he threw, he had guys running wide open downfield. He also ran a couple of times under the same circumstances where easy completions were staring him in the face.

I like Allen and his physical driven style of play is fun to watch, but he’s also a guy who still has a ways to go as a QB making good decisions. Sad to see a kick do them in, but in reality it was far more than that.

Right there with ya, for a couple of reasons:

1. His being a pouting, diva b**** to get traded, admittedly being a "bad teammate", was behavior that put him on my s**t list immediately. I can't stand spoiled snotballs of any stripe, and he lived down to the type, in spades. Still does, from time to time.

2. The "Diggs left because of Cousins" idiots, which was part of the haters' moron-a-thon about Kirk for years. Diggs denied it, flat-out spoke against it, and even shared that he regularly ate dinner with the Cousins family, during one of which he told Kirk (apparently among the first people) that he'd be seeking the trade away from Zimmer's run-first approach. Seeing Diggs having a completely forgettable playoff game after years of not getting any of the jewelry he was apparently just guaranteed with Allen...it's like a Karma subscription!

That's why I bet the moneyline on the Chiefs! I feel bad for the Buffalo fans, but I'm happy with the outcome.
BTW, can we eliminate the fumble through the end zone rule? Doesn't make any sense.

If he would have taken the shorter passes underneath that were open toward the end things may have worked out better. Both of those bombs should have been caught, but they are still long odds plays. Easy to second guess but I see it as a bit of a hero ball type decision.
