Wow what a coincidence, I heard they liked Brady too…! B) probably the same scouts…!

I guess what I’m saying, which is probably the same as what
you are saying, is that no one should get credit for “liking” a good player when
the cost to get them was almost nothing.
Every single team drafted multiple players that are busting as we speak
and they chose those turds over Purdy. The
correct way to phrase the tweet, would be that “The Vikings liked Purdy less than
some turds that are struggling to make the team”
I don't hear anyone giving "credit" to the Vikings. It's just an interesting "what if" and nothing more.
Just wanted to say, it looks like the Vikes got Purdy last night. Or at least got to him.
Perhaps the shine is starting to rub off?

unless you are a butt fumble, or you knock yourself you head butting what you thing is a padded wall, one game will not define a players career, Purdy will have a lot more chances to rub his shine off, or get it buffed up.
Purdy looked more like the Purdy I remember last night. Finally had to play from behind and his noodle arm couldn’t get it done.

is it ok to shit talk players from Iowa on here? I am guessing there will be somebody to come along and set you straight. =)

Could have had him. Just like any other team using any pick before the last of the entire Draft. But he wouldn't have gotten a shot to play and he wouldn't be playing on a team as talented.
And would we have given him the opportunity to show what he could do? Would the 49ers if Jimmy G doesn't get hurt? This sort of thing always makes me wonder. For example, would Kurt Warner end up being Kurt Warner without Trent Green getting hurt? The Rams clearly weren't aware of it considering his spot on the depth chart.
I think NFL Europe REALLY helped Kurt Warner.
The NFL desperately needs some kind of developmental league again. Obvious on every Sunday.

The NFL ratings are off the charts, best since 2015 so far this year. They aren't going to spend any money on a new developmental league.

It wasn't one game. They have now lost 2 straight.

Of course they won't, but the product would be better if you had another NFL Europe/whatever league.
