Joejuan Williams taking starting CB reps early

Injuries are always a big factor for a team's success or lack thereof each season. Its easy to forget at the beginning of a new season how decimated some teams were the previous year with injuries, especially if its not your favorite team you follow closely.

After Williams (and the kid they signed from the Cards) that db room has little to no experience. Would not surprise me to see them pick-up more veteran depth this summer.

Its going to depend how they look in camp. Regardless, any injuries to the 2 starting CBs would be devastating.

100%

Not to be a debbie downer, but I cant remember a season where the D personnel looks so unimposing on paper

Its the reason I think this is a 10 win team, in spite of an offense that could rival 09 or even 98.

I read elsewhere that the reason for this was a disappointing performance in the red zone from Joejuan. What's most interesting? No mention of 2nd round pick and fully healthy Andrew Booth at all.

Looks like we have to hope someone steps up because Booth doesn't seem to be the guy. That's really too bad. Long camp and preseason to go however, lets see what happens.

Just read that Booth got some reps with the ones the day before. So maybe there's still hope.

I think Flores is taking a look at everyone so he gets a lay of the land. We'll know in 3 weeks the starters at corner.

easily could be about grasping the scheme as well. We all cross our fingers about Booth and wait.

Evans looked like a legit corner and with a higher ceiling than Booth when he was healthy last year, maybe he turns out to be the guy we need to step up.
