I wish he would have ran two more times with the 20 seconds we had.  HE FUCKING BLEW the timeouts before the 2 minute and Change of Possession

Fuck him
That's exactly right...

but they were in field goal range, so I thought. That kick was wide right from the get-go.

Just when I thought they can't hurt my psyche anymore; F'ers.
How's your ticker? I couldn't watch the kick. I was thinking they should have run a couple more plays. They wasted time. Unbelievable.

You were absolutely right.  That shows how scared Zimmer is right now, that was "close enough", while other coaches go for more yards (with more timeouts in their pockets)

Murray has 322 yards on 21 completions in the 3rd quarter. Brutal. Cousins has less than 100 yards passing since 1 minute into the 1st quarter.

Felt like out the gate we had a nice rhythm, and then BOOM.  Better choke that down, and lets just pound the hell out of Cook.  I will say, Zim would have been gone a long time ago if Cook didn't bail him out.  That kid makes plays out of nothing more than he should have too.
Cook was hurting today. "Ankle"
We don't spell him some, he will be missing some games.

I would have been more shocked if he would have made the kick. NEVER LEAVE IT UP TO THE KICKER! You'd have thought Zimmer would have learned this by now.

Bullshit. Kickers hit way more often than not, and our guy drilled two 52-yarders earlier in the game. You play the percentages. Forgot about that "Fumble" last week already? It was a friggin' 37-yarder!

Titans won in OT with a 36-yard Field Goal with their 14th kicker since 2017 lol (at least that's what the announcers said) - you just can't make that stuff up.

Now, you can say "but it's the Vikings! You know he will miss it!" - but that's just not rational. You can't just give in and accept a "curse".

Agreed. There's zero reason for Zimmer to doubt Joseph to this point. He's hit long FGs and just nailed a long one last week to take the game to overtime. Z did get very conservative at the wrong times during the game, however.

Nah,  Zimmers whole mentality is olay to just squeak by,  he never lets the O just do its thing and that is the problem here.  How many times do we get burned on D by over playing the run and they throw it over top the stacked line,  taking advantage of cover 1 or zero?
Zimmer has made no secret of how he feels about kickers but his mentality is to constantly put his teams fate in their hands.   Its Zimmer who is failing this team,  not just the kicker who misses the kick.
Until zim learns to play for the dominant win,  I have a hard time putting it on one player.  How about Cousins once again thrown well short of the first down markers on 3rd down?  1 for 9 on 3rd downs until the final drive.
Yes the kicker missed the kick to win it,  but I didn't feel that the were trying to win for about 3/4s of that game.

2 runs before the FG attempt??

Old man dinosaur football. Fuck me.
Kind of like Seattle last year right?  Sorry but even running Dalvin on the the 3rd and 1 was PATHETIC! EVERYONE knew it was coming.

I can't believe Zim can trust ANY Viking kicker.  Our new guy made a couple long ones that we really needed, but he missed an important PAT and the game winner.  Are we supposed to believe he's good enough?  If he's a Viking kicker, I guess so. :#
