Doug Pederson is tanking

Smart move by Philly. I never want the Vikings to lose, but I wish we’d lost today.

Especially considering it’s not like they were getting JJ TDs to pad his amazing year. Just instantly forgettable stuff from guys like Abdullah, Mattison. Classic Vikes. Oh well. The draft will sort itself out.

I just find it so hypocritical because there was a literal Tank for Tua narrative as well as Suck for Luck. It's not like other teams are not doing it.

Especially this draft which is loaded at QB.  Basically tank for _____________ chose your best evaluated QB after Lawrence.  Big difference in ability to move up from 14 to 5 or 6 then it would have been at 9 or 10.

Speaking of pick 9/10 was that even possible if we had lost?

He pushed the envelope no doubt and I do get the dilemma. Here is a comment on their decision.

yes we would have been 9th or 10th,  depending on how the SOS would have fallen between us and the lions for that 9th spot.  basically that win yesterday cost us a high 3rd round draft pick... but hey,  Zimmer feels good so thats all that matters I guess.

Edit:  sorry,  11 or 12th with the SOS between us and the lions.  we ended up with 14th and they the 13th.5

I'm getting a lot of vibes that our fan base is F*ck Spielman, Zimmer, Cousins, the OL group as a whole, and the special teams group as a whole. We will be healthier next year and will make the playoffs...especially when we draft someone good at 14 and move up into the second round. It'll happen, positive vibes.

C'mon, not everyone is a raging lunatic who wants to toss the baby out with the bath-water.

Personally, as a fan of 40+ years?  I think it's time to move on from Zimmer, Malouf, Dozier and they need to get this Offense out of the Flintstone ages.

I like me some RS, I think KC should be the QB next season, but I'd like them to move up for one this year - if they love one of em. Exactly what GB did with Love.

That's fine, but to expect things to change overnight and compete for a super bowl 2 years after isnt realistic. A lot of fans on here obviously see how certain teams have done things and think it must be that easy. I'm open to some changes too, but it isn't that easy for us, just like how it is for other teams....

Panthers were in the Super Bowl four years ago and they still suck. Rams went to the Super Bowl two years ago, didnt make the playoffs last year, and barely got in this year. Patriots are going to suck for the next 3 years minimum. The NFC East is a giant laughing stock. The list goes on and on so it isn't that easy unless you have a Mahomes or Brees or Rodgers.

I'm all for trying to get the QB of the future if one is there, but we cant be giving away the farm to do it...especially when Kirk was really good over the last 10 games (24 tds to 3 picks). There is literally no perfect recipe to winning titles so we need to stop acting like we know. Address the obvious issues at hand and hope for a healthy season. If we still suck after that then clean house
