I would be surprised if Ruggs isn't the first WR off the board. Speed kills in draft rooms.

It's very possible. But my goodness, how many of these speed guys have to bust before the NFL starts to wonder? John Ross, Corey Coleman, Will Fuller, Breshad Perriman, Philip Dorsett, AJ Jenkins, etc, etc. I'm not sure why that is, but it's almost like the fastest receiver from every class has very often been a bust. And not like half. Like 90%. It's bizarre.

More often than not the route-runners transition well in the NFL---the speedsters however, do not. Who are the good route-runners in this class outside the top 3 guys?

Justin Jefferson
Brandon Aiyuk
Van Jefferson
Michael Pittman Jr.
KJ Hill
Kalija Lipscomb

Draft Wire's Justin Melo passes along that Baylor WR Denzel Mims has taken FaceTime meetings with the Eagles, Cowboys, Rams and Jets.Melo additionally relays that the Baylor standout has had video check-ins with Titans, Bears, Colts and Bills. The 6-foot-3, 207-pound wideout managed to get predraft workouts in with the Bucs and Cardinals before the coronavirus shut down traditional workouts and visits. A combine star, Mims has Day 1 stock upside for the draft later this month. To whit, in a recent mock draft, Pro Football network's Ian Cummings pegged Mims to the Vikings with the No. 25 pick.

Make that two then. Aiyuk is really impressive to me.

Well, hearing PA announce Aiyuk like the Three Stooges has a certain appeal.

This should be posted on every draft room wall.

There are three receivers I don't really have a good sense for yet. Aiyuk, Chenault and Hamler. But I do think that Aiyuk is going to go a lot higher than we're seeing on big boards and mock drafts.
