I won't even comment on who thinks that California is doing well.
DeSantis will run but won't say so right now so he can win the Governor election in November, and then will say he is running for Presidency after that, or he would lose his chance to win in 22. Trump will endorse DeSantis and most likely have some rallies for him.
There is no way he will run as a 3rd party. That whole post above was a complete clown show lol
Hey CA, just a reminder, you dont have to agree with a post or poster, but please be respectful of their opposing views.

Do you people constantly live in fear? Jesus, "to be working to murder Americans, nationwide"? What is your evidence of this? What has happened to "CHAZ"? Who controls the area now? US Marshals have arrested the CHAZ murder, justice will be served.
Stop fear mongering, it's not a debate position nor is anyone except your own echo chamber ever going to take you seriously. 5 blocks in Seattle for how long and somehow this is sweeping the country!
And then you have the police accountability report that came out stating the police used misinformation to spark a violence utilizing the "Proud Boys" as a tool. Ahh seems that it's not that simple and that most people, on both sides of this bullshit were complicit in their dishonesty and stupidity.

You people need to get a fucking grip
I screwed up on Portland earlier. It was in Seattle. You can't think CHAZ was ok but Jan 6th was an atrocity without looking through some very very shaded political lenses.
Given that Portland has years of horrible riots and a downtown that's been a disaster for-seemingly-ever...you were understating things. But hey, it's been under democrat mayors for almost 3 solid decades...what leadership!
Yeah, 3 decades of leadership of growth for one of the fastest growing cities in America. how terrible
I wondered why you picked 3 decades of growth in Portland...so I looked it up. It seems the big growth spurt was in the 90's as the great California exodus started with Portland offering an affordable lifestyle. That's a little like the 50 year old man bragging about his high school glory days. Now that Portland has become California North...those leaving California are focusing on Arizona...and Texas...and Florida instead. Since the 90's, the Portland area has experienced about 1.5% steady growth which declined significantly starting in 2018. According to you, 1.5% annual population growth is evidence of leadership...yet the 1.7% decline in Portland's population last year is so ridiculously small that you felt a need to call me out? Good stuff.

well it was always the intention anyway, believe it or not, we actually used to have civil political discussions at one time on this site.... well for the first few weeks anyway.
Looks like Pence might be getting serious about a run? Might see Cheney toss a hat into ring
Probably no word from DeSantis until after 11/22 elections...

So a GOP primary season of Trump, Pence, DeSantis, and Cheney should be a lot of fun to watch. I'm sure it will be very civil

In that scenario, I would see Cheney playing the role of little yapping dog that acts tough but can only bite the pant leg before running off. Her "but trump, but trump" is not a sufficient platform demonstrate leadership or garner many R votes. However, she would be very popular on the left. My pick would be DeSantis, assuming he runs.

Cheney isn't popular on the left. They move on quickly once the useful idiots cease to be useful.

Or she represents a still considerable base of the GOP, the GOP who was in line with the "classic conservatism" of HW, W, etc. The GOP as a potential fracture coming, it will be interesting to see IF Trump goes down, who he takes with him.
Can the GOP guarantee if they turn their back on Trump, they can turn out 80 million voters to finally win a popular election (1win in 30 years)? Seems unlikely considering he's an unique populist candidate

I am not saying you are wrong, but most of my home state is conservative, hell even the democrats here are more conservative than many of those moving into our state from liberal states, I would say about 60% or more of those in SD think Trump is not an option in a republican primary... but if it were just Trump and Cheney... she wouldnt stand a chance, she lost not because of here position, its because she forgot that she was there to represent the people of Wyoming and in many cases those positions that they held were aligned with Trump and her grandstanding against him was a dumb ass move on her part. She forgot her assignment and as a result was removed. There are 3 South Dakotans in DC that are very much in the same hot water if they dont get their shit together... regardless of how they feel about Trump.
