Masks, face shields and face coverings are currently required statewide for indoor public spaces (for example, grocery stores, pharmacies, public transit, personal services providers, restaurants, bars, retail stores, and more). In addition, face coverings are required in outdoor public spaces when physical distancing is not possible.
Children age 5 and up are required to wear a face covering. People with a disability or medical condition may request accommodation from the business if they cannot wear one.

3 churches sue Gov. Tim Walz over mask mandate inside churches"I stand behind the legality and constitutionality" of the requirement, Attorney General Keith Ellison said in response.Three churches in Minnesota on Thursday sued Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and other officials over state executive orders that require that people wear masks and follow social distancing practices during religious services in connection with combating the coronavirus pandemic.

“Governor Walz wants to prosecute Minnesotans for religious attendance,” read a statement from attorney Erick Kaardal, who is representing churches in Douglas, Wright and Crow Wing counties. “We are going to do our best not to see that happen.”
Along with a mask mandate, the federal lawsuit is challenging the governor’s executive order limiting the number of people attending services and requiring maintenance of social distancing standards.
In response, Ellison said in a statement that “my office and I review every executive order for its compliance with the law and state and federal constitutions. I stand behind the legality and constitutionality of this executive order. We will defend it strongly in court just as we have so far successfully defended others in court.”
In May, for example, a church in St. Paul and another in Brooklyn Park sued Walzover his more restrictive “stay at home” executive order in force at the time, which had prevented places of worship to conduct indoor services.
Through the third week of July, according to data released by the Attorney General’s Office, it has so far spent $170,000 and 1,300 staff hours defending against various lawsuits and petitions against the state and the governor, “so far with a 100% success rate.”
The churches suing this time are Cornerstone in Alexandria, Land of Promise in east of Buffalo and Lifespring in Crosby.
However, “under Minnesota law, these religious activities are criminal activities,” the suit reads. “As a result ... the threat of prosecution by the attorney general and county attorneys, religious attendance at the churches has declined.”
Kaardal’s statement went on to point out that other states have excluded churches from COVID-19 mask mandates.
“Those states have recognized that you cannot criminalize religious attendance at houses of worship for any reason,” Kaardal said. “Christians of all denominations, Muslims, and Orthodox Jews are bound by their faith to worship together. Time-honored rites and rituals, including prayers, singing, communion, and a laying of hands in blessing, are among those elements that comprise the free exercise of religion.”
The suit asks the court to declare as unconstitutional the governor’s orders addressing religious services.
“Wearing a mask makes singing, verbally praying and receiving communion at church more difficult and, at times, impossible,” the suit reads.
Along with Walz and Ellison, other defendants are the county attorneys in the counties where the three churches are located.

What is going ON here!!? LOL. You can't read? "When physical distancing is not possible." You can run. You can ride your bike. You can walk your dog. And, yes, you can go hiking. The very IDEA of going hiking is distancing. And you don't have to distance within your bubble, meaning your family, your kids. My God, this really isn't that complicated, Jimmy.

Colorado has the same rule. I went hiking on Vail Pass on Monday. We had our masks, as did everybody else on the trail and when someone approached, we put our masks up, as did they, and when they passed, we put your masks back down, as did they. I would imagine if Jimmy were around, he might take my picture with my kids when our masks were down and call us hypocrites. And put me on Fox News for all the idiots to raise a fuss about.

“Every single American should be wearing a mask when they are outside
for the next three months at a minimum
. Every governor should mandate
mandatory mask wearing,” Biden said, later adding, “And it’s not about
your rights, it’s about your responsibilities as an American.”

wearing a mask outside is just plain stupid.
