Trump reached a new level of low last night, even for him.

JFC, we all knew this was going to take time due to all the mail-in ballots. I am quite confident the system is working and I'd be saying the same if the #'s were trending for team red.

These allegations are just that - allegations remaining un-substantiated. Judges have for the most part agreed.

The count will continue and America will show the world how a democracy works, even in a Pandemic.

The longer this goes the easier it is for both sides to call shenanigans. When its all said and done 1/2 the country is going to think 1/2 the country cheated regardless of the eventual winner.
Doesn't matter what they "think" if there is no evidence of it.
WTF?

of course it matters,  if citizens (regardless of affiliation) lose trust in the system and the process then you have a failed govt which leads to more shit like antifa and other violent angry mob actions.  that comment right there "doesnt matter what they think"  is the mentality that is at the root of about everything wrong with politics in America today.

hell wanting to understand what "they" (those from opposing view points)  think is the only friggin reason for a sports site to have a political discussion board.  Wow. Confused

edit:  the timing of this couldnt be more perfect from Rubio,  it speaks exactly to my point.

What I find so interesting and frankly enlightening is that the left spent 4+ years demonizing Trump and anyone who dares to think even remotely differently from them.
LOL. Oh yeah, we hate Trump because of his POLICIES. I wish it were about policies, like it was with the Bushes and Romney and McCain.

This is about removing a pathological liar from the White House. About removing an immoral man who brags about grabbing women by the pussy, a man who paid off a porn star while cheating on his 3rd wife, a man who was endorsed by the KKK, a man who thinks there are "fine" people among a rally of white supremacists, a man who lied to the American people about a pandemic that would kill a quarter million Americans.

Policy disagreement??! LOL. Donald J. Trump is an absolute horror of a human being, who's 4-year term is an embarrassment and will be a stain on our great history for centuries.
If you dont think all politicians that make it as far being a major party nominee for president arent a bunch of corupt assholes with every quality you described above..then you havent been paying attention.

Of course I don't believe that! LOL.

All presidents are flawed in some way, but until now, every president in our past, hell even Nixon, had a modicum of decency and decorum and statesmanship and morality and knowledge fitting the position. Nixon was a bigot and a liar but not pathologically so the way Trump is. He was also well-informed about public and foreign policy. And he certainly was not an embarrassment on the world stage the way Trump was. Foreign leaders didn't laugh at him when his back was turned.

Trump was elected mostly because 60 million Americans mistook his ignorance and disgusting behavior as the fresh voice of an outsider. Hopefully we've learned our lesson.

what lesson is that?  accept the swamp stench because the first attempt to do better wasnt a success?  screw that,  we need to double down in the next election and both parties need to put up a risky candidate that wont work for the status quo,  somebody that really wants to work for Americans first and will so regardless of media pressure.  you didnt like Trump,  fine, but you have to admit that his tenacity when it came to trying to follow through on his campaign promises didnt waiver and unlike all past presidents of the last 30 years Trump actually was trying to put Americans first and not bowing to international interests and pressures.

Next POTUS election wont matter.
There is not a single demographic mega-trend that favors GOP or conservatives. and with Biden, our borders will be wide open, ensuring that.
Trump will be the last GOP president, despite the modest in-roads he made this election...still was’t nearly enough.

I think you're being "tongue in cheek" here...

I hope that aint the case. On key issues I fancy myself to be a conservative vs liberal and I'm quite the hawk regarding foreign policy.

I just didnt buy off on the religion of Trump

Dems need to figure out how to once again become a champion of the middle class and the red team? How to appeal to a broader demographic outside of FL Puerto Ricans and rural america.

Trump was elected because there were 20 or so republicans in the primary. Most of which were identical. Trump rose to the top because he was different.

Then Blue stole the primary from Bernie and put forth the most unelectable person on the planet. To add salt to the wound they took the 2016 playbook and did the same dang thing.

I dont expect the GOP to move towards the middle. I expect them to take a huge chunk of what Trump did right and run it in a less abrasive package.

Youre welcome to hate the guy but from a foreign policy and economic policy standpoint he did alot right. Some politician will take advantage of a pissed off red team and be sucessful with it.

expand on that.

personally i couldnt care less how Germany or China, or most other countries view the US,   as long as the US is doing good for the US citizens, I really dont care.   Its America first and then if everybody in America is doing good then I will start worrying about how the other people on earth feel about us.  it didnt bother me in the least that other world leaders thought poorly of Trump,  as long as Trump was making deals the were fair or weighted in the US favor,  honestly why would any American citizen be concerned as long as we are winning economically and arent doing things that will lead to wars with other countries?

Except for your ridiculous border comment (not a single member of congress--dem or rep--supports open borders), I tend  to agree that republicans are going to have a harder and harder time with elections as the cities and suburbs in the north AND south become more and more educated and diverse.

Still, the idea of smaller government, low taxes and states' rights is an appealing one to most people, even democrats and minorities. It's a winning strategy if you can find someone to express it by appealing to our better angels and not be an asshole who strives to embolden the very worst among us--the white supremacists, the Q-balls, the Karens and the anti-maskers...

I dont think more educated is necessarily a qualifier for either party.

You’re not going to find many that agree with me on foreign policy. I pretty much agree with Ron Paul on foreign policy.

If it were up to me we’d close most our foreign bases. We’d pull out of every single war we’re currently enaged in.

We’d cut military spending by +90%
We’d cut foreign aide by 100%

We’d remain a member of Nato but we’d only pay our share.

Trump got us into no new wars and scaled back most active ones which is a move in the right direction in my book.
