I don't know why sane conservatives aren't out condemning him and his actions on January 6th.
Because most conservatives see jan 6th for what it is, an overblown, manufactured, charade made to distract the lefts voter base from the real crimes being committed to the American people.
I see Jan 6th itself as some dumb asses storming the capital and they should be appropriately tried and potentially convicted.
The bigger crime is a big lie from ex POTUS and his attempts to circumvent the system our forefathers put in place - for his own drive to stay in power. That s hit dont happen here too often.
But when the last group of dumb asses "stormed" the capital there was no outrage, no concerns, etc. Jan 6th was so overblown its not even funny. The words used to describe Jan 6th are ridiculous. The antics after it are worse.
Don't agree with this at all. Not even a little.
What should we do about the several blocks that were succeeded from the country in Portland during the Floyd protests? Some 6 weeks if I remember correctly?
Well, a whole neighborhood had to be bought back in Seattle, because the democrats in the mayor's office and city council not only negotiate with terrorists (who carried out murders, robberies, rapes, and vandalism in CHAZ/CHOP during that time), but actually fund and appoint them to office...as a former pimp was named "Street Czar" after Mayor Durkin's "Summer of Love" (her words, I'm not kidding) regarding that horror show.

He stepped down after crime continued to ramp up (still the case), and after the local citizens got very angry with their parks, neighborhoods, businesses, and the rest being overrun with homeless camps that are constantly teeming with vermin, drugs, and crime.
Given that members of their own party are calling them out, loudly, for their failures in law enforcement, and looking at their efforts to punish legal gun owners...is it really unfair to accuse elected/appointed democrats to be working to murder Americans, nationwide?
Do you people constantly live in fear? Jesus, "to be working to murder Americans, nationwide"? What is your evidence of this? What has happened to "CHAZ"? Who controls the area now? US Marshals have arrested the CHAZ murder, justice will be served.
Stop fear mongering, it's not a debate position nor is anyone except your own echo chamber ever going to take you seriously. 5 blocks in Seattle for how long and somehow this is sweeping the country!
And then you have the police accountability report that came out stating the police used misinformation to spark a violence utilizing the "Proud Boys" as a tool. Ahh seems that it's not that simple and that most people, on both sides of this bullshit were complicit in their dishonesty and stupidity.

Okay...that made me actually laugh out loud. The same guy that posted the talking points on Jan 6th including the point that Trump wanted to hang Pence. Did he go down to the White House Maintenance Department looking for a rope? We also learned about coordination for the "attack" including removing magnetometers. Clearly, the protesters were preparing for the armed "insurrection" that occurred. Simple question...how many people have been charged or convicted of possessing guns inside the Capitol? We know the 2nd Amendment crew has access to lots of weapons. The answer is...ZERO. If you want to call people out for fear mongering...than DON'T FEAR MONGER.
The Jan 6th Committee is also fear mongering. If we want to get to the truth...why don't we let all sides present their case? We assemble a bunch of Trump haters. We have "witnesses" that can and will say anything..because they know they won't be contested. Want an example? We had testimony from a woman who was told that Trump tried to grab the wheel when they were taking him back to the White House. Sounds pretty serious doesn't it? Except the guy who supposedly told her that said he didn't and the Secret Service including the driver were willing to testify that it didn't happen. Their testimony wasn't required as it would have interfered with this made for TV mini series...the sequel to the Great Russian Collusion made for TV drama. Some of the same actors in both including Adam Schiff...who constantly leaked "information" to the press and assured us all that he had seen evidence of collusion worthy of Treason charges. How many tens of thousands of stories did we have about the Great Trump Russian Collusion that you guys on the left lapped up with glee and touched yourself inappropriately? Great TV...but purely fiction.

First, define "you people". Seriously, this should be fascinating.
Secondly, your accusations of "fear mongering" and "5 blocks in Seattle" show either complete idiocy or halting dishonesty, because the dnc is currently reeling from just how horrible they are at law enforcement in the U.S.:
The Democrats’ crime conundrum looms as a midterm threat (yahoo.com)
Opinion | When it comes to crime, Democrats are in danger of being mugged by reality - The Washington Post
(if you do the reading, you'll find that these, and many other links, seem to involve the whole country...not just 5 blocks in Seattle)
Oh, and yes...that report is real. So's this one:
SPD: Rioters tried to trap officers inside burning precinct using rebar and concrete – KIRO 7 News Seattle
Yes, the rioters...who were often encouraged or barely rebuffed by democrats trying to capitalize on "defund the police" optics games...tried to cement police in a building while also trying to set it on fire. I'll await the inevitable BS rationalization, because...well, does the modern left do anything else? Accountability does NOT happen with that sh*tpile.
Oh, and somehow...it was OK to try and burn police alive in Seattle in response to an incident in Wisconsin, showing that the accuracy of the modern left is typically off by about 2000 miles.
In the meantime, we still have Seattle city council idiots stuck to the "defund" babble even as other democrats abandon it (as they do with trends, regardless the actual issues)...though they're quick to call the police when they get harassed at their homes, something they were fine with happening to SCOTUS judges. Hypocrisy, the way of the dnc!
Now, anyway...as we've shown that you're either ignorant or dishonest and thus should be dismissed from adult conversation, try not to tell people what grip to get. You have no basis to judge anyone, as you've demonstrated...so try and learn before posting anymore disinformation, mmkay?

agreed. I am curious though to what the GOP solution is to a global supply chain quagmire and global inflation. I hear them bitching about it but I'm curious outside "pump more oil" what would they actually do. Keep in mind that, gas prices, while slow, have been dropping steadily for weeks now.
Then again those who will want to pump more oil don't understand what the US oil supply is about, how at best it would be to alleviate European energy concerns vs the US.
So what is the plan then? Let Russia take Ukraine and open up trading dialogue with a rival who is a 3rd world country masquerading as a gas station. Taking the pressure of global oil trading supply and lowering the speculator valuations?
The global economy due to covid and supply chain, climate change, and Russia has been on a path to hell even the US can't escape (regardless of who is the President). There is zero doubt in my mind, we will take the short route and exacerbate the long term issues which will doom us all.
The two largest US ports are Long Beach and Los Angeles...they are also the two least efficient ports in the World according to the World Bank.
We still have a significant backlog of ships in those harbors virtually doubling the shipping costs and time to market for goods with those costs being passed on to consumers. Those ports (and many other US ports) have been near the bottom for quite some time. Why haven't we addressed it? Simple answer...the Longshoremen. We can't possibly automate those ports like economic and technology powerhouses like Lebanon and Nigeria...because we have high priced Union labor to protect. Add to that, some of the California laws for labor and trucking...requiring special low emission trucks and now eliminating owner/operators...because they're impossible to unionize. We now have less trucks on the road and trucks that must pick up their load outside of CA...once again increasing supply chain issues and raising costs to the consumers.
As for oil...don't even get me started on Biden's War on Oil. Dude is positively giddy about it. Just two years ago we were the largest exporter of oil. And please knock off the Russian Oil narrative. The Chinese have redeployed their oil tankers to bring oil from Russia to China..so their oil is still being purchased. So it's really about the Europeans at present. If the US were still the largest exporter, we could be in position to help them out and keep prices moderated...but thanks to President Biden and crew...no such luck. There's not a chance in hell that an oil producer would make a significant investment in production in the US with this Administration even if they could...it's a losing proposition....ask the Keystone guys...

We exported:
In 18 7.4MBD
In 19 8.4MBD
In 20 8.5MBD
In 21 8.6MBD
Show me how the exports have gone down during Biden
We were "largest exporter of oil" for like two months. Based on shale production and based on Saudi cutting back to boost OPEC prices.
We have been in the top 3 in global oil exports for the last 3 years. What more can we do we when have LIMITED INFRASTRUCTURE for moving energy around. Hard to invest in infrastructure when we spend $800 BILLION a year in military and pass out tax cuts/loopholes for major corps and the 1%.
The US has broken export records of LNG to Europe during the crisis. Somehow we are not doing enough

Never said CHAZ is acceptable. I don't support the fringe idiots on either side.
Defund the Police is fucking stupid, always has been, always will be. Reform the Police makes sense, especially for communities and PDs that need and want to work together. PDs have a long way to go in building trust in broken communities. We have seen how well they are working across this country with responses like Uvalde. It's so fucking complex that fringe arguments, straw men, won't be the answer to get these things done.
Also, CHAZ, was not being supported by the President of the United States of America either. These two things are not the same and I don't know a rational person who would equate them. Both are ridiculous in this country, but also shows how far this country has rotted.
I'm not engaging with the fringes who like pointing at the opposite fringe to justify their fear (Chaz, White Nationalist shooters), conspiracies (denied by their own party) and bullshit.

Of all the things I listed...this is the one you have an issue with? Well okay then.
Oil Exports for the US were steadily increasing pre pandemic when obviously...demand dropped dramatically.
Here's a chart of US oil exports per year...notice any trends?
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1913...m-exports/
The reality is that with producer stockpiled oil from the pandemic and soaring gas prices...you'd expect those numbers to jump dramatically...and they haven't. Same for LNG especially with a more than willing trade partner in the EU.

You people need to get a fucking grip
I screwed up on Portland earlier. It was in Seattle. You can't think CHAZ was ok but Jan 6th was an atrocity without looking through some very very shaded political lenses.
Given that Portland has years of horrible riots and a downtown that's been a disaster for-seemingly-ever...you were understating things. But hey, it's been under democrat mayors for almost 3 solid decades...what leadership!
