I can only guess this is because they've already vetted through other channels. It would be pretty hard to believe the Browns giving up the moon for Watson without doing a thorough investigation that gave them confidence there would be no further criminal charges. But who knows.

They are the browns.  Someone need to update the Browns QB jersey with two hands firmly placed on the buttocks at the bottom.
