Watson To The Browns
#1

The #Saints and #Panthers have made offers for #Texans QB Deshaun Watson and are likely to meet with him soon, sources tell me and
@TomPelissero. Other teams also are involved. Watson has a no-trade clause and wants to meet with teams before formally waiving it anywhere.

Anyone need further proof the cap is a myth?

I’m told the Saints have done extensive background checks on Watson and have the approval of ownership to try to bring him to #NOLA.

Lol. Cuz Mrs Benson is such a paragon of virtue.

To me Watson isn’t worth 3 first rounders. And he has to much baggage.
I would just as soon pass, Has to better options.

No trade clause, Watson can nix any trade if he doesn't want to go.  That's what he did with the Panthers last year

Broncos gave up this for a 33 year old R. Wilson:

Seattle will send Wilson and a fourth-round pick to the Broncos in exchange for quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick.

Watson is only 26 (27 in Sept):  I think a team is going to have to give more than the above given for Wilson.

I'm sure Kwesi is doing his homework at least.  If we still had Spelly I really doubt he would even entertain the thought.  He tied his wagon to Kirk.

This is why the Vikings have a chance. Last year at this time, before the legal issues, Watson was said to have waived his no-trade clause for two teams: the Bucs and Vikings.

If it comes down to those two, you'd have to think the Bucs would be favored due to having won a Super Bowl two years ago and their very good defense. They have a better OL, but ours probably has more upside. Where the Vikings win is Dalvin and JJ.

It's going to be a bidding war. They can have at it.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank is fond of Deshaun Watson from the days when the former Gainesville (Ga) High quarterback worked multiple years as a Falcons’ ball boy and developed a relationship with Blank's family. twitter.com/adamschefter/s…

Just like Fitzs with the Vikings. Except not a sexual predator.
