Missed Opportunities

Important question for consideration:

Are we under the impression that KC can't / won't improve in the near future?
That in effect we are seeing his "ceiling"
I think we saw his ceiling early last year,  what we are seeing now is well below that performance level.

Ok, so if his ceiling was last year, then a combination of things most likely has caused him to regress...

1. The improved running game
2.  Over coaching / afraid to throw it.

im good with KC's "ceiling" (last year, he ran with the Rams almost single handedly) but frankly we have all seen the results of coaches instilling the fear of Letting the ball off the chain.  they've groomed him / been so afraid to throw INTs, that he doesn't wanna pull the trigger.

Saw the the stat the other day that he DOES have time...

Hes gotta get that ball out, and wing it.

Close, I'd articulate is as:
  • Improved Running Game (should not be a negative though)
  • Coached not to make mistakes - killed the gunslinger DNA
  • Afraid to throw it - shell shocked ala David Carr - RUINED
