Its just a year. A year to help make the team competitive if they can get any kind of decent QB play while letting a rookie QB learn and sit for a bit.

At least it's not until December,   we won't likely need him much after that anyway.  :p

FWIW. Jones has very low miles. He's never  had more than 236 rushes in a season and only gone over 200 in a season 3 times.

In contrast to someone like Derek Henry, Jones has way less miles.

I dunno what the line will be, I dunno what their records will be when they play in 2024. But I will have zero doubt or worry Jones will show up be ready  to play in both games.
