Just curious, what should I expect to spend for seats?  I saw tickets in section 114 and I offered the guy $450 for two, and he said no.  Most 3rd level seats right now are at least $200-$250 per seat.  Anything lower bowl level on the sidelines are at least $275-$1,100 depending on how close to the 50 yard line.
There's no way I'm going to drop $600 or more just for tickets.  I could gather up my buddies that are in the Cities and buy all kinds of food and drinks and have a hell of a Viking game party somewhere for way less.
Realistically, if I wait until the weekend of Nov16th, what should I expect to pay for non-nose bleed seats?  Maybe something lower bowl near the 10-20 yardline?

Just curious not just because I'm obviously cheap, but my wife isn't to thrilled about throwing down 5 or 6 bills just to get into the stadium.  B)

I paid $180 for 6 seats in section 220 for the bears game.
$180 each, right?
yep
Thanks.  STubhub has them starting at 274 right now.
I'll just go with Nichelle's advice, and wait.  I just wanted to know what I should expect.

I'm thinking around $200 per seat is where I want to be - thanks, Jimmy.

That's a good price based on what I'm seeing.

my advice is dont get swept up on having to attend the game,  go down to the game with the intention of taking in the atmosphere and tailgating experience... and then see what you can find via scalpers.   with the success of the team tickets are more in demand now than they were a few weeks ago.   if things dont go well in KC or Dallas then maybe there will be more willing to sell and less buyers?  I will say SD has a fair amount of donkey fans and for those in the eastern part of the state its pretty much a much attend game so that drives the sales as well.

I thought tickets were only electronic now?  Do the game day scalpers walking around by the stadium now accept paypal and transfer tickets to people?

there has to be some way for them to do it as I still hear of people buying them onsite right before the games.  hell if nothing else while you are enjoying Nichelles tailgate festivities (you really got to go meet that group)  you can be checking the tickets sites on your phone,  i would have to think people drop their asking prices shortly before the games or those that have things come up last minute try and recoup parts of their costs.

Actually, I'll have to check to see if my wife is interested in a Viking tailgate.  My son and I have been to a couple that the Longshippers have hosted, and I'll always remember those games; they were simply the best!
My wife likes the Vikes, but she's not a freak like me about them (I know, what's wrong with her?). B)

We're actually staying downtown at the Hyatt for the weekend for her birthday trip.  I'll have to see how badly she wants to go to the game.  If it were just me and my son, we'd be biking to the game from his appartment and taking in the entire game day experience with tailgating included, not doubt about it.
I just don't want "her" weekend trip to be about me and what I want to do.
