A big story nobody is talking about...

And there were rumors Clancy would move the team to Houston who lost the Oilers to Nashville since his partner was Les Alexanders who owned the Houston Rockets.  Instead we get Big Red McCombs. Wonder how things would have been different if Clancy actually pulled it off? His divorce and alimony screwed his chance. One can only wonder...

McCombs might still own the Vikings if he had gotten a stadium 20 years ago...

It took fleecing the fans for PSL's, Mark Dayton and spotting Zygi's plane in LA to finally get it done. Now we've got one of the top 3 NFL stadiums around. Almost worth the wait.

Yes there is not much chatter unless it is about Dallas, GB, and NE.

But that is completely normal. So sports talk radio/TV/podcasts are going to get the majority of clicks/listen/views from those 3 NFL teams. Minnesota will be a story they definitely will bring up, but later in the show. Its the same in any professional league. Some teams are much hotter, even when they stink, than others when they win. That's just the business of media. Frustrating, but its always about the $$$$.

The Bills' 5-1 record is about as impressive as Green Bay's record.

There's no chatter because they already let too many people down. Could they have beaten the Patriots been 6-0  and put them in 2nd place that would be really something. Every once in a while in the last couple decades somebody steps up early in the season and promises to unseat the Pats. People were talking, till they dropped the ball. If nothing they made them Patriots even better. The Patriots are destroying their weak competition. They are not used to having anybody within one game of them this late. Everybody knows how the story ends. What's to talk about? The will have a cute little season where they finished 2nd. Man I hope not though.
