Dru Samia?

When I saw Samia last week I wasn't too concerned with what I saw. Everyone knew coming in he would need to add more strength before he could seriously be considered a threat to start. Right now he is still on my 53-man roster but the numbers game keeps him on the edge.

Chances are unless Brett Jones blows everyone away this pre-season they may end up keeping only one center with Elflein being the backup at that spot. Aviante Collins health is also something to keep an eye on since Storm Norton has come along at tackle in his place. My current 53 has the Vikings keeping 9 O-lineman.

C - Bradbury
OG - Elflein, Kline, Dozier, Samia
OT - Reiff, O'Neill, Hill, Norton

IR - Collins (until he proves he's healthy)

PS - Keenoy, Udoh
How about the positive reports on Isidora? Not true or not enough?

He'll make the roster ( I think ) but I'm not sure what he'll ever amount to long-term. Pretty early yet.

I think they are true and saw some of the positives myself. But his past performance has to at least be taken into consideration to some degree and I am not sure he is going to be as good when they start cutting defenders. Maybe he ends up being a trade candidate.

Samia did not have a good game last night.  Constantly overpowered and was part of the penalty count.  Based solely on just last night's performance, he's a PS guy at best this year.  He's obviously still got time to show out and earn his place on the 53, but he's got to upgrade his future performances.

Samia said it about a week ago that he definitely he'd 'be on my ass about 1,000 times' in his first TC practices and preseason games. He knows he has work to do, both strength-wise and leverage as he's a taller guard.
