Anyone kinda hoping that we don't make the playoffs this year?

Fuck that...  you always want to make the playoffs.  Once you make it in, you have a shot...  and who knows...  maybe Stefanski can unlock the potential in this offense.
If the Vikings can start playing some complimentary football and the offense gets rolling, we still have a team capable of winning it all.  Look at the Packers back in 2010...  ripped off 3 or 4 straight wins to make it in as the final WC and the next thing you know, they are hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.  I think the Steelers did that shortly thereafter as well.
Never say die.

my thoughts exactly.  Fuck that.  I never root for a better draft pick.  With the talent on this team, we definitely have a chance.  our D is that caliber and the offense could if Stefanski gives it a spark.

I cannot see how anyone who is a fan would not want the team to win games.
You never know what could happen.
In 1998, in the last minute of the Cardinals playoff win, John Randle got hurt and was not even close to 100% the next week vs the Falcons.  It had a big impact on the game IMO.

It does feel like something has been off all year, but I'd still like for us to make the playoffs. We don't feel like a dominant team this season, but there's still enough talent on the roster that if they get hot at the right time, then they could do some damage in the playoffs. That feels far off after the past couple games, so we'll see if switching to Stefanski at OC breathes any life into the offense. A higher draft pick wouldn't be the end of the world, but I also feel like they're doing a good job of developing late round/undrafted players like Harris, Weatherly, Kearse, and Hill that I'm a little less concerned about high picks. Plus it will just be another corner anyway. Sad

I think I read the Ravens fired their OC mid-season and then went on to win the Superbowl.

That won't be happening in Minnesota, but its an interesting fact.

The good news through all this shit this season is there is still a lot of talent on this team.  Its mostly been the offensive scheme and playcalling that havent allowed it to show.  The offensive line is a big problem but I still think it could be peiced together enough to make a run if Stefanski is up to the task.  Its not fair this late in the season but if they could catch fire, win these three games...the talent is still there.
