And so it begins.....

I dunno, many times last season Rodgers DEFINITELY looked like "#2".

I always hate hype explosions, so this is gonna be a looooong offseason for me. I wanted to vomit through the whole 2009 "WILFS PLANE HEADING SOUTH! BRETT'S JUST GOTTEN ON BOARD!"...

...and so on, and so on. Right now, the sports media world is treating our new, um, "fun sized QB" like someone who terrifies the Josh Allens of the football world as opposed to someone paid almost $40 million to f*** off from AZ.

Can he be great with us? Hopefully. Do I think he's a huge upgrade? Not at this point.

Similarly, Flores is an obviously excellent DC, but we haven't had a shutdown CB since Rhodes and the only way our defense gets a truly scary secondary is if we draft and recruit brilliantly between now and September.

I'm normally floating in a Purple Kool-Aid pool during the offseason, but this move really does make me feel like KOC's feeling desperate, and also feels Flores' presence as an obvious replacement if he can't "whisper" up a good passing game this season.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

We can point a lot of fingers at the offense, but I though the D was nothing short of heroic in 25:

The 2025 Minnesota Vikings boasted an elite, top-tier pass defense, ranking 2nd in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game (158.5) and total passes defended.

They recorded 49 sacks, 33 takeaways, and 24 interceptions, while limiting opponents to an 82.4 passer rating.

Heck, they finished 2nd in passing defense, trailing only the Buffalo Bills (156.9 yards allowed).

We'll see if BFlo can work such magic again. I have my doubts. That IDL isn't looking as strong to me even with Hargrave/Allen both underperforming in 25 and Harry probably wont be directing traffic on the back-end.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
