ST were historically bad last year. Patterson fixes a lot of issues. 1000+ yards in returns last year 29+ yard average. 

Throw him a bone on offense every now and then to give DCs something else to have to game plan for.

Honestly, I’d bring the guy back just for his special teams coverage skills. Sticking a returner early can have real impact on a game over time. With field position so often crucial, a guy like Patterson has much more value than just his offensive stats in my opinion. I sure hope than can bring him home.
