Wait - are you saying that offensive line, where the Vikings have spent fewer draft picks (in both number and quality) than any other unit for the past ten years, is suffering from a lack of depth?? Shocking.
This has been a problem since 2014, if not longer. OK, in each of the last two drafts, they spent a day 2 pick and a day 3 pick on the line, and that's good..but there were too many years with 0-1 linemen, and always a dud like David Yankey or Jeff Baca. The talent pipeline was so poor for about six years that they should have picked 3-4 linemen the last two drafts.
I am hopeful that good coaching can cover some of these talent gaps, as it did most of 2017.
