Considering what we know about the tea, and the trivial amount of alcohol in Floyd's system, I'm not sure how the judge could've handed out a more severe punishment. The tea defense isn't as "absurd" IMO as the idea that Floyd, after passing 500 tests, and 5 days from the end of his sentence, would crack a couple of beers just before administering his breathalyzer.

He dodged a bullet here obviously. Lets see if he can help this team at all and make any of it actually worth a damn. If he can't turn his career around in his hometown on a decent football team, then he's useless.
