Vikings haven't run the ball well or consistently this whole year.

If they cant run today? It could get ugly....
Agree. The run game is key. The passing game is vulnerable to weather, your QB having a bad day, coming out flat, etc....none of that is true for the running game. Vikings are going to need to count on it more down the stretch and in the playoffs.

But you can run on this team. They're not particularly big, and since week 4, they rank 19th in rushing yards given up per game and 30th in explosive runs given up.

Running also helps keep their offense off the field.
Also, keeps our defense fresh and off the field.  The Vikings can afford to have the defense try and win this game for us...

Best case scenario is we run well and the D continues upward trajectory of the last few games.

IMO Bills are going to put up over 26 today, they are just really good and we dont have Tomlinson.

Les RARELY brings a S into the box, so running is possible. But you get behind these guys? Its a rough day at the office.

We should know fairly early what kind of game this will be. Vikings opening script--the first two or three series--has been mostly good all year. Where they struggle is from the mid-2nd quarter through the 3rd, before coming alive again in the 4th.

If we don't move the ball effectively early on, it could be a long day.

December is just around the corner...I'm excited about the new few weeks of football and to meausre how good we are vs elite.

Unfortunately KOC has set my expectations very high with an exceptional record to-date. I figured this was a team at or near .500 this year.

F'er...

a little too much to ask for us to go into Buf and win. i hope we emphasize the run game today and try not to let this be a track meet and see if we can pull it out in the end.

Into the 3rd qtr Dalvin had 6 carries for 13 yards...That suckz and a key ingredient for the "L"

The pass rush is so late. Way too many mistakes. Lack of separation by Thielen and Osborn. The defense did good at keeping it a 2 score game but the offense didn't capitalize.
