Man, I will just never understand this bizarre hatred of Adrian that so many around here seem to have.

I have to admit my "fandom" for him waned after the "swatting toddler scrotum/ laughing at swatting toddler scrotum/serial inseminator" thang. 

But it is a FACT that without AD, every Viking playoff appearance during his reign, except forvthe 2009 Favre anomoly,  was due ENTIRELY because of Peterson. L'il Ricky's record would be MUCH worse without Adrian.

That being said, I am hoping for a dominant Viking victory against AD and the Saints on 9/11, but decades of Viking fandom prepares me for yet another kick in the toolbag.

I loved Adrian as a Viking.  I was proud that one of the greatest of all time wore Viking purple.  But he's not a Viking anymore.  I hope we great him warmly, give him a standing ovation when he comes on the field, and then kick his ass during the game. Let him soak up all that southern "family-type  feel" as he recovers  from that decisive butt kicking.
